Job Description:

  • Schedule and coordinate meeting logistics for significant number of executive meetings.

  • Create and maintain appropriate databases such as action item lists.

  • Interface with high-level internal and external contacts.

  • Provide administrative support to engineering department.

  • Make travel arrangements and process expense reports.

  • Manage personnel calendars.

  • May perform some research or data analysis tasks.

  • Support additional projects, as needed.

  • Prepare presentations.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent plus a minimum of eight (8) years related experience, or AA Degree or equivalent of four (4) years of related experience, OR equivalent.

Preferred Additional Skills:

  • Highly proficient in MS Office suite of tools, including Outlook and Excel.

  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic environment with the ability to prioritize and multi-task.

  • Present a professional face to the department and customer (internal and external) as well as be accessible and flexible to the changing needs of the department.

  • Demonstrate a strong attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.

The selected candidate will be part of an exclusive national security program and work on the design, development, deployment, and O&M for critical wireless, infrastructure and/or communication programs. Typical System Administrator responsibilities include the following: * Performing analysis to include: (1) Operating Systems: Windows 2012/16 Server, Windows 7/10, (2) Application Software: Common Network Planning System (CNPS), Solar Winds, (3) Database applications: SQL, (4) Network Protocols: TCP/IP, FTP, 802.3, MPLS, L2TPv3, IPSEC, RIP, IGRP, EIGRIP, OSPF and SNMP in both copper and fiber environments. * Recommending and implementing engineering design changes required to adapt technical requirements. * Performing daily review of audit, security, and application logs and identifies problem areas or trends and takes the proper action and generates required reports. * Using toolsets such as NESSUS, SolarWinds, and Splunk. * Configuring backups and RAID configurations on systems to preserve critical information. * Supporting management of VLANs, VRF, virtual switching, multi-layer switching, Multi-layer Firewalls, ACLs, secure configuration, bulk link encryption (KGs) * Supporting account management, PKI cert management, LDAP configuration/management. * Establishing and maintaining up-to-date cybersecurity configurations based on DISA STIGs and IAVM Notices. * Conducting weekly cybersecurity system audits. * Supporting critical operations during standard and non-standard working hours. Qualifications: * Bachelor's Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience, or equivalent. * DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level 2 certification (e.g. CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+CE, SSCP, CCNA Security, CISSP). * Active TS/SCI security clearance. Preferred Additional Skills: * TS/SCI with active Poly is highly desired. * Experience in the use of IT tools for managing and troubleshooting complex computer networks. * Security administration experience in support of RMF requirements. * Working knowledge of RMF and cybersecurity requirements. * Ability to integrate RMF principles into ground-up builds. * Previous experience supporting DoD & IC Government customers. * Experience with continuous integration, build management, and/or automated test frameworks. * Hardware/software requirement verification/system validation experience. * Demonstrated ability to work and grow in a dynamic, fast paced, team-oriented environment. * Experience with Vmware Suite, Backup Technologies such as NAS, SAN, iSCSI, SAS. * Experience with testing applications such as Jenkins, TestComplete, Microsoft Team Foundation Server, and/or Bitbucket. * Ability to travel up to 10% * Demonstrated self-starter - efficient in achieving goals and proactive in pursuing subsequent task * Scripting experience (Bash/Shell, Python, Perl). * Experience in highly technical programs, both commercial and governmental. * Ability to thrive and communicate in a matrix organization. * Clear and concise briefing ability of technical projects to non-technical audiences and customers.
