Accurately processes IRA forms and sends forms to Ascensus in a timely manner
To include processing IRA minimum required distributions by the 25th of each month, processing IRA direct transfers and rollover forms for deposits and withdrawals, and ensuring IRAs remain in balance.
Ensures proper reporting is completed and submitted to Ascensus and the IRS within time allotted
Ensures all daily processes are completed within specified deadlines for Certificates
Processes certificate ticket requests in correlation to the urgency attached. Works related certificate reports
To accurately process all incoming ACH activity; reviews all ACH debits and credits for proper posting or returns as received daily to meet the Federal Reserve deadline of 2:00 pm bi-weekly
Assist in the processing of ACH origination requests
To make recommendations for efficiencies to processes as needed to maintain accuracy and time demands
Processes and verifies incoming/outgoing wires and reconciles to the proper GL as assigned while maintaining an accuracy ratio of 95%
Provides accurate, timely, and friendly service to coworkers in the interest of quality member service. Enhances department and organization reputation by accepting ownership in new and different processes
Performs other job-related duties as assigned
Three years to five years of similar or related experience.
A two-year college degree or completion of a specialized course of study at a business or trade school or completion of a specialized and extensive in-house training or apprenticeship program.
Interpersonal Skills Courtesy, tact, and diplomacy are essential elements of the job. Work involves much personal contact with others inside and/or outside the organization for purposes of giving or obtaining information, building relationships, or soliciting cooperation
Experience with Excel is required
Working knowledge of financial regulations, compliance rules, policies and procedures as they apply to position.
General Ledger reconciliation and accounting abilities
Good written and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with vendors and staff
Good analytical ability to make recommendations on decision and resolve problems
Ability to operate a PC with related software programs with speed and accuracy.
Physical qualifications require being able to sit at a computer and other office related equipment for extended periods of time and to be able to lift and carry at least 25 pounds.
