Job Description:

  • SAIC is seeking an IPM Schedule Analyst in Chantilly, VA.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Apply the principles, theories, and analytic methods regarding schedule management, Integrated Master Schedules, schedule performance.

  • Perform program schedule analysis, technical performance metrics analysis.

  • Conduct assessments/analyze on program cost, technical and schedule baselines.

  • Interact with customers and colleagues effectively when resolving problems.

  • Exercise sound judgement and discretion; possess ability to communicate /present results to senior managers in a clear and concise manner.


Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelors and at least 1-3 years relevant professional experience and 3-5 years overall work experience.

Required Clearances:

  • TS/SCI with Counter Intelligence (CI) Poly.

This includes overall view of the health of the schedule enterprise, deep dive achievability assessments of development contractor schedules and performance metrics on program deliverables. The candidate should be a proven leader in the area of schedule management as well as developing schedule architecture solutions. The selected candidate must also be comfortable briefing team plans, status, and technical recommendations to large audiences or individual senior management personnel. Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Enterprise Schedule Management * Design and maintain integrated enterprise schedules to meet evolving customer needs. Complete systems engineering tasks related to build the out of schedule details. Integrate with the architecture and requirements team to maintain enterprise baseline. * Continuously develop schedule management and analysis skills. Provide leadership and guidance to junior team members. Contribute to building the skill and knowledge base to the team. * Collaborate with both agile and traditional development teams to design and maintain integrated enterprise schedules to meet customer needs. * Evaluate impacts on segment, project and enterprise schedules resulting from changes in customer and program requirements or schedule performance. * Provide to management, schedule analysis and reports consistent with program and customer requirements. * Track project execution, identify, and mitigate project risk. * Provide briefings to internal team and assist with briefings to senior government customers. * Work collaboratively in a multi-contractor/FFRDC environment. Schedule Architecture * Architect schedule management solutions to integrate multiple schedules, create common templates, training materials, and lead training courses. * Develop visualization templates and solutions required for leadership briefings. * Administer Microsoft Project Server as a subject matter expert as well as identify, track and follow issues to resolution. * Provide subject matter expertise to assist teammates and customers schedule related technical issues. * Identify and promote the integration of schedule management best practices. * Lead the transition of the existing Project Server to v2016 and into an Amazon C2S environment. Required Skills: * Active TS/SCI clearance. * BS in Information Service Systems, Tech experience or equivalent experience. * Experience with Project Management and Schedule Development. * 16+ years in Systems Engineering or related field, with a minimum of 10 years of recent agency-specific experience. * 10+ years in developing/managing complex project schedules in a multi-contractor/customer environment. * Demonstrated experience developing and maintaining complex project schedules. * Experience with schedule planning tools, specifically Microsoft Project and Primavera. * Experience administering Microsoft Project Server. * Knowledge/experience working in the Intelligence Community. * Strong analytical skills and ability to develop and formulate solutions for problems/issues. * Strong interpersonal skills and team orientation. * Readiness to learn customer relationship and presentation skills. * Strong interpersonal and customer relationship building skills. * Strong written and verbal and briefing skills with ability to work in a fast paced multi-tasking environment. Desired Skills: * 5-7 years of SE and project planning experience, working medium to large projects. * Knowledge of SE practices necessary to define and implement large diverse projects. * 2+ years' experience in the Intelligence Community domain.
