Contract to hire opportunitynTOP 3 SKILLS- TCP/IP, Data Routing & Switching, Cisco/JunipernJOB DESCRIPTION:nCandidate will require intermediate-to-advanced knowledge to troubleshoot and mitigate data networking issues related to Internet Routing and Switching including hardware, configurations, and connectivity across multiple Internet and networking technologies and protocols. The Candidate must have demonstrable proficiencies to test and troubleshoot across multiple Data IP Networking subjects including but not limited to: Data switching, IP Addressing, IP-Routing, ARP, VLAN-Tagging, PPP, STP, TCP, Ethernet, MPLS, ISIS/OSPF, BGP, and Networking ACLs/Filters.nCandidate must have advanced skill supporting Data Network Routing and Switching hardware for at least one of the following vendors:

Cisco, Juniper, Alcatel-Lucent, and/or Redback from a CLI environment. Candidates with intermediate experience across more than one of these vendors will also be considered. Near-professional level skills are needed, i.e.

CCNP, JNCIP, SRC-II, etc Certifications are desired but not required. Expert-level skill in the above subjects will be considered but not required.nThe following networking skills are also desired but not required: SD-WAN, Multicast, ATM, DS3, Serial, Traffic Engineering, DSLAM-Access, DSLAM-Aggregation, NAT, DHCP, VoIP, IPTV, Network Transport Techs (i.e.

DWDM, DCS, TDM, OC-x, SONET), PC/MAC Desktop, and Network Security. These skills are supplementary to the required skills mentioned above and will not be considered in leu of such.nGeneral

Job Requirements:
nDuties: *Troubleshoot network elements *Research DocumentationnWorking knowledge of Data Network Devices including but not limited to DSLAMs, ATM switches and routers. A working knowledge ofnIP networking, ATM networking and MPLS networking is also required.nSpecific

Job Requirements:
Verify MPLS connectivity using MPLS_Test vrfn
  • Be able to draw a topology map from edge router back to the core (excluding switches)n* Identify & mitigate a DoS/DDoS attack within 15minn

  • Hardware install/replacement MOP reviewed and passed on 2nd revisionn

Computer Systems Analyst II Role and Responsibilities SUMMARY This position is located at Little Rock AFB, AR and reports directly to the Cyber Security/Information Technology Manager at Little Rock AFB, Arkansas. This position is responsible for the daily operations of server, PC, user accounts and system backups. Continually install, maintain, repair and enhance the Local Area Network (LAN) to guarantee system operation. Troubleshoots and installs software and hardware on workstations and desktop systems, printers, back-ups, and associated equipment. Interpret and diagnose the above mentioned server system logs to isolate operating system issues. Researches and provides specifications for hardware and software to support logistical requirements for replacement, repair or enhancement of the system or associated equipment. This position will be responsible for on-site Information Technology (IT) to include: * Performing Security Assessments and Accreditations and maintaining Computer Based Training (CBT)/Classroom equipment * Maintenance of instructor personal computer equipment, GTIMS, TMS, video teleconferencing, and TSSC and SIMCERT interface * Maintaining inventory records for both hardware and software components * Assists and instruct users as new equipment/software is introduced into the ATS * Provides training, orientation and assistance to newly hired personnel as required * Assist in direct support of Formal Training Unit student in-processing * Additional duties and related responsibilities will be assigned as required QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS * Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline such as Computer Science or three years of real world network and server experience required * 1-3 years of related work experience required. Additional work experience may be substituted for degree requirements. * One of the following certifications: A+, Network+, or System Security Certified Professional (SSCP) certifications. * Experience with Industry standard operating systems such as Microsoft, Linux, Apple, Cisco needed and be also be proficient in industry standard office applications such as Microsoft and Adobe products. * Must be able to work flexible hours. * Must be able to acquire and maintain a SECRET clearance. * Must be able to install, operate and maintain Network, Server and PC equipment and their peripherals to include the Microsoft Windows Operating systems, Server Hardware, Switches, Printers and UPS systems. * Must be able to maintain and evaluate vulnerability and security configuration assessment results. * Must have worked in an environment where candidate was required to interact with multiple functional areas of a diverse nature. * The candidate must have demonstrated outstanding interpersonal skills, excellent leadership traits, strong oral & written communication abilities, solid ability to organize and a high desire to provide customer satisfaction.
