Job Title: Senior Data Entry Specialist / Patent Analyst

Description:

This position will have a varied responsibility and may have cross-position responsibilities and work. Candidate will be responsible for providing patent prosecution, and other intellectual property and general administrative support to a patent professional(s). Tasks may include receiving invention disclosures and tracking their receipt to final decision. Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to, records entry, running of reports and tracking due dates for action items.
This position may also work with our Data Entry team that is responsible for the collection of documents from various sources for inclusion into the Corporations docketing system, Anaqua. The documents will include confidential patent application documents filed in the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office (USPTO). The candidate will be responsible for downloading, reviewing, analyzing and accurately recording the collected documents into a patent docketing system, as well as docketing patent prosecution due dates.

Essential Functions:
Understand all possible sources of the documents (USPTO PAIR, administrators from Intellectual Property Law Departments within the corporation, law firms, and in-house patent professionals);
Correlate collected documents and data to accurately enter information into the docketing system;
Review and analyze USPTO documents and enter appropriate events/tasks;
Ensure data entered is accurate based on review of collected documents and comparison with online record summary;
Collaborate with team members to meet team support/service requirements.

Additional Responsibilities:
Team work collaboration and checking team members work for accuracy. Training new team members on the various requirements of the position.

Qualifications:
Extremely detail oriented, with strong ability to multi-task
Excellent organizational and document management skills
Experience in a team oriented, collaborative environment
Intermediate level of experience in Adobe, Word and Excel
Minimum of one-year administrative experience or data entry experience
Must be a US Citizen or permanent US resident

Education:
High school diploma or equivalent
Associate degree or paralegal certification preferred
Legal office experiences a plus
