IoT & Services Product Director

Are you a Marketing/Sales leader who is an expert in designing Services & Data Management Solutions for customers by mobilizing an organization?

In this role you'll be

in charge of developing and implementing the Services strategy at Hydro Systems and run Services as a business with yearly revenue and profitability targets. You work closely with the regions and the sales organizations to productize the approach and define the appropriate route to market.

You'll have an opportunity to

enable and accelerate the Services Transformation by driving Hydro's and execution across its 4 Business Units in a phased approach.

You should possess

at least 10 years' success in a Software/Services Sales B2B international company, with a sales/marketing background within a management position, focused on complex integration projects.

Principal Activities/Duties/Responsibilities

  • Define and implement the strategy around Services & Data Management and set the foundation for succesful deployment

  • Define the route to market and the offer for Services in strong liaise with the regions and the different BUs

  • Productize the customer audit approach around the customer pain points

  • Define and implement the processes, tools and capabilities to support the approach

  • Drive Services as a business (Revenue & GM targets, drive and monitor execution with the regions)

  • Define and pursue partnerships & alliances around Financing, Services, Software and Hardware

  • In the initial phase, look at more opportunities coming from the field in order to maximize the impact of the standard and professional services approaches

  • Invest, grow and develop the organization thru a performance culture

Education and/or Experience Required

  • Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Sales/Marketing or related discipline.

  • 10 years + in business management roles and/or Service management responsibilities with large regional or global scope.

  • Strong Sales experience (ideally in consultative selling and services) and ability to lead and work within global cross functional teams or projects.

  • Entrepreneurial spirit and strong analytical skills.

  • Ability to influence and mobilize the organization to achieve a shared goal.

The candidate can handle complex systems with interlinking dependencies across multiple IoT solutions, passionate about solving complex problems and well-adapted software engineering design disciplines. Responsibilities: * Utilize system thinking principals to organize the interlinking requirements and software modules that encompass the IoT solutions * Lead, collect, and maintain requirements and traceability for the IoT solution(s) * Lead risk management process including the identification and mitigation of failure modes (FMEAs) * Craft verification and testing strategies * Work with medical device software engineers to identity the engineering requirements, testing needs, and traceability artifacts required for the design history file (DHF) * Partner across multiple operating segments including application development and Cybersecurity to realize the IoT vision * Domain expert in software engineering quality management systems (QMS) * Collaborate across the J&J matrix to define and deliver standard IoT platform(s) * Partner with the R&D Product Development organizations to understand their IoT needs, help prioritize investments, develop use cases, generate processes, and develop overall solution requirements including application definition, integration, security, and system configurations * Build and roll-out new design processes to SCRUM teams Qualifications * A minimum of a bachelor's degree required in IT or related engineering field is required. A master's degree in IT or related Engineering field is preferred. * A minimum of 2 years of professional experience is required. * Strong knowledge of software engineering processes is required. * Experience executing in an Agile software development methodology is required. * Experience collecting and documenting requirements is required. * Experience writing Agile user stories is required. * Experience delivering projects in a highly regulated environment such as FDA design controls, GxP, Sox, etc. is required. * Ability to manage the low-level details of a project while understanding the bigger picture of the Digital Surgery strategy is required. * Proven experience delivering software projects utilizing FDA Design Controls is preferred. * Proven experience leading risk management and failure mode analysis (FMEA) is preferred. * Proven experience creating and executing verification strategies is preferred. * Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) experience is preferred. * This position can sit in Cincinnati, OH or Somerville, NJ and may require up to 20% travel, domestic and international.
