Role: IoT Data/Software Developer
Location: St.
Louis, MO
Duration: 1+ year

Your skills and who you are:
Computer Science, engineering or related degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
Experience developing solutions using SQL Server or another RDBMS technology
2+ years of experience building complex automation configurations for high-throughput applications (specific experience in drug development and screening, and/or synthetic biology desirable)
Proficiency and core expertise in developing device level agents for communicating to cloud/on premise systems in C++/C/Java/Python
Good understanding of network and cloud concepts
Teamwork and written/verbal communication skills
Ability to self-manage and intrinsic motivation to build new solutions and platforms

Additional/desired Skills:
BS or MS degree or work experience in (bio)engineering, bioinformatics or other life science disciplines
Experience with lab automation solutions including systems by Tecan, Hamilton, Agilent, Perkin Elmer, and Thermo Fischer.
Experience with data science, especially analytics
Knowledge of clean code, version control and other software engineering best practices
Experience with quality systems and laboratory device protocols/standards
Experience in connecting devices and processing file formats from laboratory devices
Experience with onboarding and debugging biological applications and devices
The ability to translate a high-level goal into action with minimal further guidance
The ability to work in a cross-functional environment with a can do attitude to drive productivity and problem-solving
Understanding of agile models
