The Best Buy Finance team is seeking an Invoice Resolution Payables Analyst. This role is responsible for responding to supplier and internal business partners inquiries regarding payment, invoice status, auditing financial information, researching and resolution check issues. The work involved includes past due invoices, invoice corrections, supplier holds and disputes. In addition, this position provides supplier/business partner reporting and analysis of account information.

Key Responsibilities of the Payables Analyst:

  • Invoice issue escalation resolution and remediation

  • Provide immediate support for daily exceptions that include invoices, PO match, holds and business vendor escalations

  • Research and resolve all escalation and urgent requests from vendors and business which include payment, invoice corrections, escalated inquiries, supplier holds, disputes return mail, check issues, etc.

  • Reconciles issues requiring cross-functional collaboration to identify root cause and solution

  • Board of Directors payments, high priority payment requests, vendor statement bumps and resolution

  • Identify and analyze root cause issues to reduce supplier escalations

  • Interpret, apply and communicate AP policy and procedure

  • Manage supplier and internal business partner relationships

  • Oversee offshore processing of supplier issues and be responsible for escalations. This work provides support in ensuring minimal impact to supplier escalations leading to negative impact to the business

  • Timely and accurate resolution to supplier and business partner inquiries are critical to operations and supplier relations, reduce negative impact to the business and supplier

  • Utilize and support various systems and processes on the Accounts Payable team

Basic Requirements:

  • 0-2+ years in an accounting / finance related role to include AP / AR related responsibilities

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associates Degree (2year) " Accounting / Finance emphasis

  • Intermediate proficiency in Excel and 10 Key data entry

  • Retek (RMS, REIM), Oracle, or compatible AP system

  • Reconciliation experience

  • Demonstrated skills with Root Cause Identification and resolution

  • Demonstrated collaboration and communication skills

  • Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally with all levels of an organization as well as vendors

  • Ability to deal with ambiguity in day to day tasks

  • Working knowledge of Access

The person in this position coordinates the implementation of office technology solutions across IS&T groups and other HealthPartners departments (e.g. network, desktop analysts, materials management, etc); developing and maintaining project documents and work plans per HealthPartners Project methodology. ACCOUNTABILITIES: * Coordinates small scale client office technology requests. * Ensures the implementation of office technologies; coordinating efforts necessary from other IS&T groups for small efforts. * Maintains project schedules and work plans for Office Technology projects. * Pulls service level metrics for periodic reporting. * Partners across IS&T and material management to ensure hardware, software, and purchasing standards are maintained. * Coordinates issue resolution for fulfillment projects; collaborating with senior level office technology team members. * Orders and consults on needed desktop and office technologies (e.g. printers, desktops, etc). * Coordinates Office Technology needs for testing labs and training rooms. * Documents and coordinates change management function for client office technologies. * Manages and maintains workstation and client office technology configuration items within the configuration management database. SKILLS/EXPERIENCE: * Strong desktop tool usage including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio * Detail-oriented and strong organizational skills * Good troubleshooting skills; ability to determine root cause and remediation plans * Strong verbal skills; clear and concise communication capabilities * Working knowledge of project management software tools (i.e. Microsoft Project) * Customer service oriented * Ability to interpret customer requests into hardware needs * Understanding of IS&T infrastructure across LAN/WAN environment * Understanding of client office hardware and applications * Problem management and issue resolution skills REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: * Four year college degree or equivalent experience * 3+ years project coordination experience * 5+ years in Information Technology HealthPartners is recognized nationally for providing outstanding care and experience for patients and members.
