This Co-op experience provides participants with a meaningful, relevant work experience as part of their academic studies. At the conclusion of this position, co-ops will have increased their knowledge of investing, the mutual fund industry, employee engagement, and a firm understanding of how compliance learning works at an asset manager.
MFS co-op positions are a 6-month commitment (January 5th, 2021 - June 25th, 2021), working Monday - Friday and work between 35-40 hours. Our program is designed for undergraduate students who are currently enrolled in a co-op program through their college or university and can meet our requirements.
Following established procedures, the co-op in this position will assist the Investment Compliance group with ensuring the quality and integrity of reporting and data.
The job will be focus on responding to ad hoc requests for information and research within the Investment Compliance Group
Review and research differences between multiple compliance monitoring systems
Register/ post internal documents to the Contracts application in DIVA
The candidate should be detail oriented, have strong organization skills and sound problem solving skills.

Strong written and verbal communication.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects effectively and efficiently.
Working knowledge of computer based programs including MS Word and Excel
