We recruit Investment Banking Summer Associates for several different areas. Summer Associates will rotate through two groups: either a product group, focusing on the analysis, structuring and execution of specific transactions across a range of industries, or an industry coverage group, focusing on a full range of merger and acquisition, strategic advisory, and debt and equity capital raising solutions within a particular industry.

The majority of Associates will be placed at the Company headquarters in Atlanta. We also have Summer Associate opportunities available in Charlotte, North Carolina and Houston, Texas.
As an integral member of the team, Associates play a meaningful role in new business development, due diligence, and transaction execution. Associates work with senior professionals to identify and evaluate opportunities and then meet with and present to prospective clients.
Associates must demonstrate a mastery of financial and accounting concepts to facilitate the creation or review of in-depth financial models involved in transactions. Associates are also charged with drafting internal and external documents and marketing materials utilized in transactions. Associates often take a lead role in executing transactions and working with clients, attorneys, investors, interested parties and other senior professionals on a daily basis.
As a result, strong organizational, communication and leadership skills are necessary to be effective in the position. The majority of Associates will be placed at our headquarters in Atlanta.
The internship program will run for approximately 10 weeks in the summer months. Interns are primarily placed at our headquarters in Atlanta and will be eligible for consideration for a full time position in our Analyst program upon graduation.
MBA from a leading program
Minimum of 3 years work experience required
Ability to understand complex financial products and desire for significant transaction execution responsibility
Proven analytical ability and attention to detail
Solid leadership and interpersonal skills
Superior written and oral communication skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Concentration in Finance
Previous background in financial services and/or experience as an Analyst
