The Financial Technology sector is an exciting and rapidly changing industry with more than $150 billion in equity capital invested and more than $200 billion in M&A transactions in the sector over the last 5 years.

We are currently seeking an Analyst (1st or 2nd Year) to join our high growth Financial Technology

  • Financial Services Group in the San Francisco, CA office.

Our Analysts work closely with senior bankers to make a real impact on our clients' businesses. On a day-to-day basis our analysts:

  • Prepare materials to support our clients in achieving their objectives, including industry research and industry trends

  • Assist with transaction execution, including M&A and capital raising

  • Complete financial and valuation analysis, including discounted cash flow, leveraged buyout, merger consequences, comparable companies, and precedent transactions

  • Create pitch books

  • Interact with clients and senior bankers

  • Stay abreast of events and trends in the Financial Technology sector

  • Bachelor's degree from a top tier school; finance or accounting preferred

  • Recent graduate (2018 to 2020)

  • 1 to 2 years' experience working in an M&A deal environment (e.g. corporate finance/accounting analyst equivalent) a plus

  • Ability to work in a fast paced and challenging environment

  • Extremely detail oriented with the ability to multi-task

  • Candidates must be able to work well under pressure, handle multiple projects at once and learn quickly

  • Excellent analytical, verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong intellectual curiosity and work ethic

  • Interest in the Financial Technology sector

  • Capability to develop strong interpersonal relationships
