The Auditor-Controller/Treasurer/Tax Collector's (ATC) office is seeking an Investment Analyst to compile and analyze financial data and prepare reports on companies for periodic review of financial performance, then presents findings and makes recommendations to investment management staff. Assesses credit condition of companies and monitors and analyzes market and economic data all in support of the County's Portfolio and Cash Management Program. Conducts other market/investment research and makes recommendations/presentations as needed.

3% Annual Across the Board Salary Increase on February 2025
Bi-annual step increases of 2.5% up to Step 16

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT
Applicant must successfully pass a background check prior to appointment.
Travel throughout the County may be required. A valid California Class C driver license is required at time of appointment; employees in this class may be required to use personal vehicles and show proof of automobile liability insurance. Mileage reimbursement is available.
Sponsorship:San Bernardino County is not able to consider candidates who will require visa sponsorship at the time of application or in the future.
Salary increases contingent upon Property Related Revenue and/or statewide Proposition 172 Sales Tax Collections performance.
Minimum Requirements
REQUIRED:
EDUCATION
Must possess a completed/awarded Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration or closely related field.
EXPERIENCE
Must possess one (1) year of (full-time equivalent) professional-level experience in one of the following: fixed income securities or market analysis; credit analysis of large companies; or portfolio accounting.

EDUCATION

Desired Qualifications
