Brandywine Realty Trust, a premier commercial Class A full service real estate company with operations nationwide, has an immediate opening for a full-time Investment Analyst in our corporate headquarters located in Philadelphia, PA. The role has the primary responsibility for working within a small investments group and reporting directly to the VP, Portfolio Management. The successful candidate will need to be very proficient with investment modeling, have excellent analytical skills, along with exceptional inter-personal skills and will have the opportunity to present their findings to various departments and management levels within the organization, including the CEO. The ideal candidate should have a high energy level and be able to work well under pressure and meet deadlines. In addition, must have a "team player attitude," and a positive, outgoing, customer service orientation is a must.
Underwrite property acquisitions using ARGUS, Realogic and Excel.
Model complex joint venture waterfalls in Excel.
Prepare development and redevelopment models.
Create presentations for investment committee using PowerPoint, Word and Excel.
Research sales and lease comps for various projects.
Update and maintain internal sales comp database.
Mine various sources (i.e. RealPoint, Auction.com, CoStar, etc.) for investment opportunities and market intelligence.
Prepare ad hoc financial analysis on an as-needed basis.
Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Real Estate or a related field is required
Minimum of one to three years of working experience, preferably in real estate investments, lending or appraisal industry.
Proficient in using ARGUS, Excel and PowerPoint.
Working knowledge of Realogic, CoStar, RealPoint, etc.
Solid experience and understanding with financial modeling and building/manipulating complex spreadsheets
Ability to interpret and synthesize general concepts as well as raw data into a comprehensive financial analysis.
