Altium is looking for an Investment/Financial Analyst. You will research, model and evaluate reports of different financial solutions for our clients and financial advisors. You will focus on analyzing the impact of different client financial outcomes based on financial and investments strategies and decisions.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Create investment analytics and proposals.

  • Provide detailed investment and financial performance reporting.

  • Build financial planning, Monte Carlo, and other future cash-flow models.

  • Create/maintain aggregation portal of client's balance sheet and income statements.

  • Analyze/prepare financial models and reports for life insurance and other financial strategies.

  • Document client scenarios and advice provided to clients.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree

  • 3 years financial services experience.

  • Will to work or working towards CFA or CFP designation.

  • Excel skills (can maintain complex spreadsheets)

  • Experience with the following tools a plus: Black Diamond, eMoney, Bloomberg, Salesforce or other planning and analytic tools.

The Senior Analyst sits within Corporate Control, and works closely with other teams, including: Domestic and International PepsiCo Divisional Control, Treasury and External Reporting. The right individual will have a positive impact through working collaboratively, identifying and implementing process improvements, and leveraging technology, such as, robotics where possible. This is an opportunity to join a central team that has a key role in managing foreign exchange, commodity, and interest rate risk at PepsiCo, with great exposure to senior leadership.</p><p>You will have a strong accounting knowledge base, outstanding attention to detail, strong analytical skills, excellent communication skills, a great attitude, and a strong teamwork ethic. Derivative accounting experience is not required, as training will be provided.</p><p>As the Senior Analyst, Technical Accounting &amp; Policy, you will:</p><ul><li><p>Prepare periodic accounting close entries and related reporting for commodity, foreign exchange, interest rate and cross currency swap hedging programs</p></li><li><p>Communicate with the divisions on a regular basis regarding derivative activity</p></li><li><p>Perform ad hoc analysis, e.g., on reconciling items, working with other teams to identify and resolve issues</p></li><li><p>Assist in the implementation of new commodity and foreign exchange derivative programs in accounting software</p></li><li><p>Prepare initial documentation for qualifying hedge accounting programs</p></li><li><p>Perform quarterly hedge effectiveness testing and broker reconciliations</p></li><li><p>Ensure effective internal SOX control procedures are in place and operating effectively.
