SUMMARY:

Provides investment counseling to bank and non-bank clients and offers products that include, but are not limited to mutual funds, annuities, and fee based accounts. Functions as a team leader and supervises licensed bankers in his/her market who engage in investment sales. Offers limited WesBanco Trust services and products under the supervision of WesBanco Wealth Management.

LOCATION:

Consideration for location will be in Frankfort, KY.

CLERICAL SKILLS:

Ability to perform general clerical duties and operate various departmental equipment.

Proficiency using Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook and Powerpoint).

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Prospect clients to establish business relationships.

Profile clients and recommend suitable investments.

Open accounts. Manage and monitor customer service requests, transfers, exchanges and/or any transactions processed on behalf of the clients.

Participation in seminars, branch training and community events in support of Securities.

Support retail and other divisions in cross referring clients for bank offered services.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

Banking is a highly regulated industry and you will be expected to acquire and maintain a proficiency in the bank's policies and procedures, and adhere to all laws, rules and regulations that are applicable to your conduct and the work you will be performing. You will also be expected to complete all assigned compliance training in a timely manner.

This is a federally funded time-limited (FFTL) position. This means it is a position that is paid entirely as the result of a federal grant. The duration of employment shall not exceed the life of the federal grant that funds the position. An employee appointed to an FFTL position is required to meet the minimum requirements for the classification. Further, an employee appointed to an FFTL position is designated as an unclassified (non- merit) employee. An FFTL employee is eligible to receive benefits at the same level as a classified (merit) employee in a permanent position. The department seeks to hire a smart, experienced, hardworking and dependable Education Administration Program Consultant II to join our dedicated team. Duties and Responsibilities of the Education Administration Program Consultant II: * Under limited supervision, provide consultative services and technical assistance related to Title IV, Part A to local school district personnel and other state and private educational agencies in the development, coordination, implementation, and monitoring of their educational programs. * Provide ongoing technical assistance to local school district personnel and other state and private educational agencies in interpreting Title IV, Part A of the Student Support and Academic Enrichment (SSAE) program. The SSAE program aims to increase the capacity of state educational agencies (SEAs), local educational agencies (LEAs), schools, and local communities to: provide all students with access to a well- rounded education; improve school conditions for student learning; and improve the use of technology in order to improve the academic achievement and digital literacy of all students. * Advise districts on the allowable uses of funds, role of the SEA, fiscal responsibilities, and local application requirements. * Possess strong project management and organization skills; willingness to work with somewhat technical subject matter (laws, cost principles, federal grants management); and the ability to articulate this information to grantees in order to provide successful technical assistance to districts. * Collaborate with education partners within and outside KDE on various projects. Evaluate school district applications for federal funding. Review district reports, other program reports, and evaluations. * Collect and compile data for state/federal reports. Identify and provide technical assistance to districts and others. * Check and analyze school/district/state data. Perform onsite compliance monitoring at the district level. * Perform other duties as assigned.. Minimum Requirements EDUCATION: Graduate of a college or university with a master's degree in education. EXPERIENCE, TRAINING, OR SKILLS: Five years of professional experience in education, vocational education, or a related field. Substitute EDUCATION for EXPERIENCE: NONE Substitute EXPERIENCE for EDUCATION: Current Rank II or Rank I certification by the Department of Education or Education Professional Standards Board will substitute for the required educational requirement. Additional professional experience in the field of education will substitute for the required educational requirement on a year for year basis.
