The ideal candidate is not necessarily an IT professional, rather an extremely computer literate individual who is not afraid to work in a hands-on warehouse environment. The basic understanding of inventory control process would be ideal, with on-the-job training provided. This position is also responsible for various jobs around the warehouse, including loading and unloading trucks, restocking when all other inventory related duties are not needed. This is a non-exempt hourly position that includes eligibility for PTO, health insurance, and 401k program after probationary period. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Operate within standard operating and safety procedures Complete all assigned crew training modules Understanding and utilizing Flex Inventory Software to ensure accurate gear counts in shop Assist with scanning equipment leaving the warehouse Create and manage pull sheets and will-call pull sheets Coordinate with Inventory Manager to maximize gear efficiency and avoid unnecessary restock Forecasting, planning, tracking, organization, and allocation of gear Maintaining proper barcodes on all items and ensuring that gear is in working condition by physically inspecting upon return Day-to-day activities, including loading and unloading trucks, warehouse restocking if no other inventory focused duties are needed Occasionally operate forklifts, hand power tools, and report maintenance needs Qualification Requirements: High School diploma or equivalent preferred Reliable transportation Clean and neat appearance Ability to work weekends and overtime (may be required during busy cycles) Familiarity with requirements of touring equipment and terminology a plus English speaking preferred, bilingual a plus Familiar with computer systems required, including knowledge of MS Outlook, MS Word, MS Excel, and Adobe Acrobat Ability to use MS Excel to filter and calculate data Punctuality and regular attendance are required Physical Demands and Abilities: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position.
