Inventory Tech Full Time Days Position Summary

Performs duties to provide and maintain supplies within Surgical Services

THE INVENTORY TECH FULL TIME DAYS CANDIDATE WILL POSSESS THE FOLLOWING EDUCATION, LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS, AND EXPERIENCE.

1.Satisfactorily meets the Medical Center's hospital-wide and department-specific competencies.

2.Satisfactorily meets initial and annual competencies for the Surgical Services Department.

3.Maintains working knowledge of inventory control system

4.Monitors inventory levels on a continual basis

5.Works with vendors as appropriate

6.Maintain accurate and complete documentation

7.Assists with orientation and training of personnel

8.Participates in Surgical Services process improvement projects

9.Works closely with other disciplines to provide safe, high quality patient care

THE INVENTORY TECH CANDIDATE WILL POSSESS THE FOLLOWING EDUCATION, LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS, AND EXPERIENCE.

Education: 1. High School Diploma or equivalent preferred

Experience: 1.Experience as a surgical scrub tech preferred.

Other Qualifications: 1.Current BLS (American Heart Association certification only) certification
