Position Summary:

Team member will be responsible for Inventory Control. Team member will work with a team of employees to perform mini Kaizen events by cell related to parts storage, delivery, and replenishment.

Team member will 5S the parts storage locations within each cell, re-size inventory storage locations, reorganize by part type and/or supplier, barcode label parts bins and shelves, determine replenishment methods, and enter and maintain data in JDE to support automated replenishment mechanisms. Team will also prepare for physical inventories, audit cells for key performance metrics after completion of them, and maintain location and inventory data in JDE and RFGen.

Roles and Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and control parts inventory and item branch setups in JDE and RFGen.

  • Drive a forklift and pass certification course.

  • Computer skills preferred-specifically Microsoft Excel.

  • Must be able to work in a team environment.

  • Must possess people skills with a "can do" attitude.

  • Must be able to lift minimum of 40 pounds repetitively.

Requirements:

Education: Requires a High School diploma or GED.

Knowledge:
Requires ability to understand general arithmetic; ability to write in an understandable manner; understand verbal or written instructions; ability to read and understand instructions, lists and billing materials; use PC based applications, including Mainstar, Outlook, and Microsoft Office, knowledge normally acquired through high school or equivalent experience.

Mental: Requires normal attention with periods of high concentration intermittently to operate machinery approximately 50% of time.

Physical: Requires walking/standing approximately 70%, lifting up to 40 pounds approximately 15% of time; involves repetitive overhead work approximately 10% of time; involves repetitive stooping, forward bending and crouching approximately 5% of time.

Manual Dexterity: Requires use of hands, arms and feet for repetitive lifting; use of hands and arms to operate all manufacturing equipment, meters, chains hoists, automatic drills and general hand tools and to record written information.

Audible Demands: Requires ability to follow verbal instructions and to hear for safety purposes.

Visual: Requires the ability to visually observe essential functions for satisfactory job performance and safety; color and depth perception required.

Environmental: Involves exposure to plant environments with the presence of dust, fumes, noise, and fluctuating temperatures due to lack of climate control.

Operating Company: Environmental Solutions Group – Heil Environmental Reports to: Quality Control Supervisor Department: Quality Shift: 2nd shift Position Summary: The Quality Team Lead is responsible for working with the Quality Engineer in developing and maintaining standardized work instructions for product and process inspections, based on Product Model for one inspection list and Customer for a 2nd additional list to be used during Product Inspections. This position will perform Test Track inspections during core hours but will be expected to develop and maintain standardized work instructions for inspections on overtime. This person will also provide training to all product inspectors and perform Process audits against the standard work inspection instructions on all shifts as necessary, after giving Quality Manager 48 hours' notice so he can backfill when working off core scheduled shift. The standardized work instructions will be focused on Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost in their development and maintenance. Generally, this will be a job that will carry above normal overtime requirements and require and minimum of 3 years previous Test Track Product Inspection Experience. Roles and Key Responsibilities: * Obtain and test samples of products, systems and process solutions during core work hours. * Develop and Maintain Standardized Work Instructions with Quality Engineer during overtime hours. * Follow-up on test results. * Perform training and audits against the standard work instructions developed. * Communicate with production team members and supervision to help identify and correct non-conformances. * Perform product and process audits. * Participate in quality and safety improvement initiatives. * Conduct box audit checks by functionally operating the vehicle and driving the vehicle on surfaces designed to vibration stress the connections. * Conduct Test Track inspections, reviewing the work of all upstream products as a final inspection against dealer PDI, end user PDI, Heil S/O, and all upstream product inspection requirements. * Work directly with Heil Field Service and Heil Sales personnel to verify the product meets the customer expectations. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: * Works well with minimum supervision. * Highly organized and detailed.
