  • Adhere to all company policies procedures & safety standards


Essential skills and experience:

  • Able to work a flexible schedule (including nights and weekends)

  • Must be able to engage with customers and help them with their needs

  • Collaborate and work with other team members

  • High attention to detail; ability to juggle many priorities and manage execution

  • Ability to lift/move materials up to the 100 pound range, climb ladders, stand and walk continuously

We collaborate internationally and are grouped into center-led categories and regional operating teams. The Manager/Sr. Specialist is responsible for strategic sourcing execution across several marketing services categories through cooperation with global, regional, and/or local sourcing professionals in a matrix organization, leveraging a Supply Strategy Council (SSC) framework. The categories in scope are Contract Sales & Call Centers. The Contract Sales Category covers the use of external suppliers who provide sales representatives to support an internal or an external sales force. The Contact Center category covers the commercial and non-commercial customer contact centers; primarily covering commercial activities (remote sales), non-commercial activities (customer inquiry response and management of customer product inquiries) and support for Global Human Health marketed products. The primary responsibility of this role is to perform sourcing execution and category strategy development by aligning with the global category lead using the Sourcing Management Process (SMP) and establishing an aligned Sourcing Category Strategy. Ongoing responsibilities of this role will be focused on achieving/exceeding key metrics such as savings, supplier diversity, supplier performance management, and working capital. Critical to success targets and activities: * Support the CSO/CC Category Lead - Associate Director by: * Providing high quality analytical analysis, strategic analysis, and insight into suppliers and markets in support of the Global Human Health division. * Preparing and supporting pre-negotiation planning, live negotiations as well as leading and conducting RFIs, RFP/Qs, e-auctions and quotation analysis and cost modeling covering potential scope +$150 million in annual spend (including pharmaceutical reimbursement). * Conducting extensive Master Service Agreement negotiations. * Conducting effective risk assessments & establishing appropriate risk mitigation plans to remain in compliance with our Company's risk management framework Strategy execution: * Support Associate Director and Strategic Supply Councils (SSC) on projects and strategic initiatives to drive continued growth and awareness of procurement value proposition Supplier management (SRM): * Support Associate Director and SSC on improving Service Delivery via Enhanced Supplier Performance Management * Focus on the skills, tools and global processes that ensure the proactive management of supply risk and leveraging of our top suppliers' proven capabilities. Critical to success relationships: * This role is responsible and accountable for sustaining existing and developing new cooperation frameworks across multiple stakeholder groups. Process, Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) and Market Knowledge: * Category Management - Uses the Sourcing Management Process (SMP) to drive assurance of supply, quality, service, cost, innovation and regulatory compliance within assigned categories resulting in sourcing plans that optimize value and ensure appropriate risk management. Understands the Sourcing Management Process and how to modulate its application in the creation and implementation of source plans. * Proactive Cost and Cash Flow Management: Contributes to cost control, cost reduction, and cost containment and cash flow targets, and adds value to area of expenditure through a strong TCO orientation and process management. * Market Knowledge and Insight: Uses market knowledge and data analysis to gain critical insights that inform the execution of Sourcing Strategies and continuous improvement activities. Actively participates in relevant industry conferences and events as appropriate.
