Inventory Specialist

Job Description Job Description Job Summary We are seeking an Inventory Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will order, monitor, receive, merchandise and report on the company’s inventory.

Responsibilities Monitor inventory levels and identify shortages Place orders to ensure adequate levels of stock to meet customer demand Receive deliveries and confirm accuracy of product received Price sign and stock merchandise Return defective merchandise and ensure proper and timely credit is received from vendor Process customer returns for vendor credit Develop and maintain good working relationships with vendors Use existing data to forecast future demand Perform inventory counts Provide sales and informational assistance to staff and customers Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent Ability to perform basic math calculations Basic understanding of inventory control procedures preferred Ability to develop/maintain relationships with outside vendors. Ability to accurately report on inventory Excellent verbal and written communication skills Highly organized with attention to detail Proficient keyboarding skills Ability to work with minimum supervision Access to reliable transportation Must be able to lift 50lbs Benefits 401K eligible after one month of employment 401K company match up to 6% Generous employee discount
