Job Title – Inventory SpecialistCompany Location – Chino, CAOn-site, Full TimePay - $26-29/hr. Job Summary of the Inventory Specialist position
Integr8staff seeks an experienced Inventory Specialist position near Chino, CA. Responsibilities of the Inventory Specialist positionIssues, releases PO’s to factories to establish a sufficient amount of domestic inventory.

Maintains consistent stock of inventory, orders new stock up to pre-authorized limit as inventory dwindles.
Establishes and maintains backup sources for high-demand items.
Assesses inventory reports and order patterns to identify items in need of automatic, recurring, or one-time delivery.
Keep up to date with industry trends and update inventory as needed.
Provides inventory reports to direct supervisor/manager.
Negotiates vendor contracts to maximize profit.
Maintains accurate daily records of goods received and shipments made.
Manages and maintains inventory system; facilitates upgrades to related databases and/or software under the direction of the supervisor/manager.
Assists with periodic (at least annual) physical inventory audits.
Follows all existing company policies and procedures.
Creates New Items in the ERP system, and updates Item Card Information (ex: UPC#, factory cost, dimensions & weight etc.).
Provides the most updated Ocean Freight Rate.
Communicates and follows through with factories to provide the most updated ETD/ETA information and ensures the information is in the ERP system.
Work closely with the carriers to expedite urgent containers to be picked up from ports.
Key-in forecast and follow up with Account Managers and Sales Team when additional information is needed.
Submits and files proper shipping documents with Customs Broker, Shipping Companies, Accounting Department and Trucking Companies.
Posts receipt upon inventory arrival and files any discrepancies with factories.
Performs weekly review of domestic inventory to discern oversold items or brings slow moving items to sales team’s attention.
Provides quarterly sales & inventory analysis & shares recommendations
Performs other related duties as requested.Requirements of the Inventory Specialist position 2+ years of experience in purchasing or inventory analysis field is required.
Bachelor’s degree in business or related field preferred
Proficient computer skills working with Microsoft Office, and specifically EXCEL.
MS Dynamics Navision ERP system skill is a preferred.
Bilingual in English and Mandarin in conversational is required, written is a plus.
Strong analytical and problem-solving techniques.
Detail orientated, and able to work effectively under pressure.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
