Job Overview:

As the Inventory Specialist, you will oversee the inventory tracking system to record deliveries, shipments, and stock levels. Additionally, you will assess and analyze deliveries and daily product levels to enhance inventory control procedures and address inventory issues or shortages.

Compensation: $17-18 per hour, based on experience

FirstService Residential will compensate the successful candidate in accordance with the posted range. The salary or wage paid to the successful candidate will be commensurate with experience, education, and specific job responsibilities. For positions designated at a client's property, the salary or wage will also be premised upon the client's directive. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Execute daily department operations ensuring adherence to budget

  • Verify daily charges, report any discrepancies and submit all receipts/ statements to the General Manager

  • Lead process improvements for forecasting and order fulfillment to meet expectations

  • Maintain complete inventory lists and databases of equipment and tools

  • Manage day-to-day inventory including stock management, cycle counting and trouble shoot supply chain issues

  • Establish cycle counting and reconciliation procedures, ensuring frequency of inventory counts meet association and audit requirements

  • Oversee vendor management to secure competitive pricing and ensure quality services are being delivered

  • Ensure clear understanding and achievement of targets and deadlines

  • Ensure all departments have necessary safety equipment and operational tools. Submit requests for replacements when necessary

  • Ensure continuous improvement and prompt resolution of complaints

  • Perform light maintenance duties as needed

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong communications skills (including written)

  • Proven initiative and strong work ethic

  • Must have general knowledge of building mechanics

  • Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with clients, vendors, and team members

Education and Experience:

  • Facilities and/ or residential maintenance experience (Required)
  • Excellent handyman skills, including maintenance in electrical, plumbing, and HVAC (2 years Preferred)

Physical Requirements:

  • Perform any range of special projects, tasks and other related duties as assigned

  • Able to lift to 50+ pounds

Work Location: Green Valley Villas West; 460 Paseo Quinta, Green Valley, Arizona 85614

Work Hours: Monday

  • Friday, 6a

  • 2p (schedule may vary)
