The Inventory Specialist/Manager is responsible for managing all vehicles for auction and/or dealership inventory.
Serve as the primary point of contact for all inventory control related issues and processes
Trade inventory with other dealers
Manage the inventory replenishment process and analyze changes to inventory levels based on historical data and input from sales
Minimize obsolescence and manage customer lease returns
Maintain accounting of all vehicles on dealership property
Compare serial numbers of incoming cars against invoice
Catalog and stores keys
Assign stock control numbers to vehicles
Runs reports to identify location of vehicles
Setup auction lineup on a weekly basis as needed
Protect dealership and customer information
Maintain good relationships with department and dealership personnel
Manage incoming cars, used inventory and incoming dealer trades
Supervise inventory counts (periodic cycle and year end), research discrepancies, ensure timely adjustments
Maintain pricing stickers on all vehicles as required
Automotive experience required
Must have high level organizational skills
Must be at least eighteen years of age
Must have a Valid Driver's License
Must be able to pass pre-employment screening (background & drug test)
