Duties and Responsibilities/Essential Functions
Develop and execute a comprehensive market segment and product category strategy for each assigned category and segment. As part of the strategy, develop positioning and messaging for each assigned market segment and product category.
Analyze competitiveness of each product offering and product trends in the marketplace. Use this analysis to develop strategies for assigned products.
Conduct market research and voice-of-customer to identify opportunities in each market segment. Monitor market segment trends and identify opportunities for new products and services.
Review current inventory and forecasted inventory levels; adjust according to customer service levels and demand.
Liaison between Product Line Managers, Cirrus Direct call center and Supply Chain.
Work collaboratively with IT & Marketing to enhance Cirrus Direct e-commerce website and keep up-to-date with current offerings, images, descriptions, etc.
Coordinate elements of marketing communications for assigned market segments and product categories. Collaborate with Marketing and Sales to execute a well-coordinated plan.
Coordinate development and deployment of sales training materials to support new product introductions and existing product lines.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Bachelor's Degree in Science, Mathematics or Business Management preferred.
2-4 years of experience managing product lines, project management, inventory control, purchasing, sales or any combination thereof.
Expert knowledge of ERP systems, specifically material and demand planning.
Ability to manage and keep projects on-track effectively and efficiently.
Experience in successfully supporting sales teams with business insights, sales tools, product specification/selection materials, training, and product presentations.
Exceptional written and oral communication and presentation skills.
Ability to effectively present information to top management, customers, and suppliers.
Must demonstrate strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
Ability to build and maintain relationships. Ability to lead cross-functional teams.
Aviation and aerospace market knowledge preferred.
Familiarity with CRM systems: understand the philosophy, principles, system definition, and software implementations of Cirrus use of current Salesforce CRM system (customer and account management, case logging, activity history, aircraft history, etc.)
Customer knowledge: understand all customer types, stakeholders and the needs and expectations of each.
