Job Description

As an Inventory Replenishment Analyst on the Centralized Purchasing Team will be a member of Shared Services Department within the Accounting and Finance group. The position offers exposure to various aspects of the business through practical learning and mentorship opportunities, with the ultimate goal of development within the company.

Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:

The Inventory Replenishment Analyst is part of a centralized purchasing team responsible for maintaining optimal inventory levels while attaining desired fill rates at our division locations. This may include the functions listed below:

• Perform root cause analysis of assigned divisions excess inventory and customer outage situations

• Collaborate with divisional staff in developing recommendations and action plans addressing vendors/items with excess inventory or outage situations

• Regularly review and update the item segmentation classifications including the tracking of exception items

• Review and analyze vendor and item detail for potential anomalies (lead time, reserves, buying multiples, etc.)

• Prepare period end summary of centralized purchasing performance for assigned divisions

• Lead monthly divisional status update calls focusing on fill rates, root cause analysis findings, market behaviors and identifying areas of improved performance

• In conjunction with divisional staff, Identify challenging items/vendors and potential opportunities for improvement

• Perform daily reviews of product replenishment needs and place orders accordingly

• Work with divisional staff on items with significant demand changes to determine optimal forecasting for future purchases

• Address and resolve purchasing issues as needed with divisional purchasing staff

• Provide coverage for other databases as needed

Required Qualifications

0-4 years of related experience.

Able to work independently with minimal supervision and as a team member.

Ability to work with large amounts of computer data and develop actionable insights based on the data.

Strong Microsoft Office skills with proficiency in usage of Excel.

Highly organized, detail oriented and capable of multi-tasking.

Able to influence leveraging the data analysis.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
