About the Team

As part of the Product Operations group, the Demand Operations team supports the marketer advertising and merchant function across Sovrn products with onboarding and programmatic integrations; campaign setup, management, monitoring & optimization; audience and data trafficking and management; targeting tools management; internal workflow, process automation and buy-side tool development and management; management of third party platform integrations; monitoring of platform health; content creation application review and evaluation against an evolving set of quality control guidelines to support operational efficiency enabling an integrated, efficient and fast moving, customer focused organization.

About the Job

Work with the Inventory Quality Lead to ensure inventory quality by vetting new publishers to meet a universal bar of quality standards while accommodating the unique requirements of each product across Sovrn. This role will focus exclusively on review of new Commerce and Exchange publisher applications for approval/denial based on predefined review process and requirements.

The successful candidate will have:

Must have

  • Analytical skills with an established approach to quantitative and root-cause analysis

  • Experience using client side (browser) debug tools such as firebug or developer tools

  • Strong composition and language skills

  • Possess a technical / analytical background enabling you to quickly pick up on technical tools

  • High speed internet connection and reliable computer

Technical skills

  • High proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Vlookups, Formulas, pivot tables, etc)

  • Any SQL exposure a plus

  • Navigate and comprehend reporting tools such as Tableau and Grafana

  • Basic foundation in html, css, javascript is a plus

  • Internet savvy and strong proficiency in office productivity tools (Gmail, Google Apps, Confluence/JIRA, Salesforce CRM)

Soft skills

  • Provides strong problem solving skills by looking at situations from a different perspective

  • Flexibility in approach and willingness to adapt when necessary

  • Ability to prioritize and work through tasks with appropriate and dedicated urgency

  • Ability to read, organize, and analyze data sets and provide recommendations

We are presently seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist that will ensure that materials requiring customer or government source inspection are properly prepared to facilitate acceptance, assure quality control processes are functioning as designed through internal auditing, and verify nonconformances get resolved in a timely and effective manner. Responsibilities: Source Inspection: * Prepares and reviews source inspection documents to ensure company processes comply with AS9102 and customer requirements. * Maintains inventory ready for customer source inspection. * Accesses customer portals to request source inspections; upload data and reports; and respond to corrective action requests. * Coordinate and/or perform test, measurement and inspections needed as required during source inspections. * Takes initiative to get drawings or process sheets corrected, where applicable. * Prepares documentation for external testing. Inspection * Completes First Article Inspections with little assistance. * Investigates measurements that are found to deviate from standards * Review inspection results performed by others * Reads and understands drawings in order to determine specifications * Reads and follows process sheets, prints, coating scans, interferometer scans, and material certs. * Inspect and test processes and procedures - take measurements and compare to a predefined standard Auditing and Improvement * Identify improvement opportunities in processes, such as reduction of handling, measuring, storing, etc. * Audits processes to ensure compliance to internal and external regulations and standards. * Drive continuous improvement to ensure quality is maintained while efficiency is optimized * Ensures auditing and procedural documentation is kept up to date. * Train production staff on quality procedures, protocols, and documentation * Maintain Standard Operating Procedures or Work Instructions for quality assurance process * Coordinate investigation of quality issues with customers and suppliers * Review, approve and communicate root cause and corrective action to stakeholders * Generates non-conforming materials reports and communicates with Engineering. Requirements * High School Diploma or GED, Associates degree preferred * 3+ years of experience in a quality assurance position in a manufacturing environment. * Gain or hold certification as an ISO Internal Auditor * Knowledge and understanding of moderate to complex math calculations a plus. * Critical/logical thinking - identify problems but also be able to help provide novel solutions to ensure efficiency and quality of the processes * Analytical skills - will gather and interpret data, have to be able to spot trends and notice outliers * Organizational skills - needed to keep track of testing, results, documentation, and recommendations * Excellent written communication - concise and accurate written documentation is essential.
