The Inventory Planning Manager will be responsible for overseeing and balancing all domestic Hardgoods inventory within our US based Distribution Centers, so that customer orders are met and filled in full at the individual plant level. This role will also lead the coordination, compilation, and evaluation of related Hardgoods Inventory requests as it pertains to the evolving needs of the Coffee Business Unit.

Responsible for leading the development and execution of strategic Inventory initiatives to deliver Hardgoods supply chain performance to our Coffee Business Unit. This role will drive Inventory optimization results in all aspects, including network rebalancing, blocked/dead stock disposition, EOL management, allocation support, and productivity. This leader will work cross functionally with Supply Planning, Demand Planning, Finance, Commercial, Marketing, Sales, and Transportation teams to ensure the Coffee Business Units strategic initiatives are met.

What you will do: Review and manage DC inventory and balance accordingly based on plant level requirements. Actively review Blocked/Dead stock and partner with cross functional teams to align on resolution.

Coordinate Inventory project requests and partner with DC leads on execution. Ensures operational execution of new product launches and existing material transitions, to ensure Inventory is adequately positioned to support customer demand. Partner with internal customers such as supply planning, demand planning, and logistics to collaborate on a inventory optimization objectives.Track and improve overall hardgoods inventory footprint, with a focus on reducing slow/nonmoving material.

Resolve conflict/provide solutions by exercising high levels of influencing, negotiation, and communication skills. Be proactive and address issues when they show.Work with Supply Chain functions to establish process improvement programs.Provide input to the S&OP supply meeting and actively participate throughout the monthly S&OP cycle.Act as a subject matter expert for all Hard Goods Inventory topics across cross-functional teams.Provide system and process training to other key members in organization. What you must have:

Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, Statistics, Accounting, Mathematics or similar analytical degree; MBA or MPA degree preferred5-7 years' progressive leadership experience within supply chain with direct experience in inventory management. Ability to create and maintain relationships, both externally and internally.Excellent communication skills, and Executive level presentation competency. Ability to be flexible and drive for results, even when all the requirements have not been defined.Proven experiences with successfully implementing best in class inventory optimization objectives.

Strong deductive reasoning, statistical analysis, mathematical and communication skills.Ability to occasionally travel; work a flexible schedule as needed.Experience in SAP is highly desirable.
