PACCAR Parts is the global provider of aftermarket parts and services to support Kenworth, Peterbilt, DAF and TRP dealers around the world. This includes 18 distribution centers globally that support 2,200 dealerships and over 1,000,000 customers. Aftermarket support includes world class customer centers that deliver industry leading uptime in conjunction with our outstanding supply chain that delivers record levels of inventory availability for dealers and customers.
This position is responsible for retail inventory performance across PACCAR Parts Direct Ship Program offerings (DSP). This position will coordinate efforts with PACCAR Parts Managed Dealer Inventory (MDI) to plan volume orders, enhance and support new supplier programs, and optimize existing inventory planning strategies.
Job Functions / Responsibilities
Manage supplier performance through metric oversight and intercompany communication.
Lead and support Six Sigma process improvements to enhance productivity and sales growth for DSP inventory.
Collaborate with key personnel in Marketing, Sales, MDI and dealerships to drive DSP program performance achieving Division growth and performance targets.
Develop and maintain metrics, processes, documentation to achieve division past due and on time delivery performance goals.
Develops corrective actions within the SBU framework to achieve service level, shipping, and promotional goals.
Skills / Competencies
Strong communication skills. Advanced PC skills in Tableau, Excel and Access. Strong project management skills.
Bachelors Degree in Business or related field is required; MBA Preferred
Knowledge of truck parts and components
Six Sigma training
SIS/Supplier Quality System/EDI Knowledge
Project Management Skills
Inventory control or product distribution experience preferred
JDA demand forecasting experience preferred
