PACCAR Parts

PACCAR Parts is the global provider of aftermarket parts and services to support Kenworth, Peterbilt, DAF and TRP dealers around the world. This includes 18 distribution centers globally that support 2,200 dealerships and over 1,000,000 customers. Aftermarket support includes world class customer centers that deliver industry leading uptime in conjunction with our outstanding supply chain that delivers record levels of inventory availability for dealers and customers.

Requisition Summary

This position is responsible for retail inventory performance across PACCAR Parts Direct Ship Program offerings (DSP). This position will coordinate efforts with PACCAR Parts Managed Dealer Inventory (MDI) to plan volume orders, enhance and support new supplier programs, and optimize existing inventory planning strategies.

Job Functions / Responsibilities

  • Manage supplier performance through metric oversight and intercompany communication.

  • Lead and support Six Sigma process improvements to enhance productivity and sales growth for DSP inventory.

  • Collaborate with key personnel in Marketing, Sales, MDI and dealerships to drive DSP program performance achieving Division growth and performance targets.

  • Develop and maintain metrics, processes, documentation to achieve division past due and on time delivery performance goals.

  • Develops corrective actions within the SBU framework to achieve service level, shipping, and promotional goals.

Skills / Competencies

Strong communication skills. Advanced PC skills in Tableau, Excel and Access. Strong project management skills.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree in Business or related field is required; MBA Preferred

  • Knowledge of truck parts and components

  • Database experience

  • Six Sigma training

  • SIS/Supplier Quality System/EDI Knowledge

  • Project Management Skills

  • Inventory control or product distribution experience preferred

  • JDA demand forecasting experience preferred

Requisition Summary Manage and lead a staff of Mexico and Latin America MDI Analysts toward attainment of departmental goals. Work to promote outstanding retail stocking availability and ensure a high level of dealer participation in the MDI program. Manages implementation of dealers on the MDI program and evaluate current dealer inventory performance and works to promote change where appropriate to support attainment of department and division goals. Works with Strategic Business Units, District Parts Managers, Marketing Team and MDI Analysts to increase parts sales through dealers on the MDI system. Displays a communicative and proactive leadership style, and exhibits teamwork with other departments and within the MDI department. Job Functions / Responsibilities * Promote retail business growth by working with Analysts to increase retail stocking availability, reduce forecast error, and retail surplus and obsolescence. * Work to ensure that MDI participation rates remain high through attainment of MDI utilization. * Project management to promote further efficiencies within MDI by identifying and championing opportunities for process improvement. * Conduct regular desk reviews with Analysts to identify action plans in support of objectives. * Manage the MDI Goals and Align with Sales initiatives.     * Assist with the coordination of MDI dealer training clinics and other MDI events. Qualifications * Bachelors degree in business, supply chain, or analytical field required, MBA desired. * Spanish language proficiency required. * Inventory control or product distribution experience. * Experience leading projects. * Knowledge of truck parts and components. * Advanced PC skills in Excel and Access. * Experience with Inventory Management software such as JDA preferred.
