Position Summary:

The Inventory Business Analyst partners with Illumina's global and local supply chain teams to optimize inventory levels. The ideal candidate can analyze data, communicate data, and collaborate with colleagues to drive change. The candidate will embody Illumina's values of innovation, collaboration and moving fast.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain safety stock/EOQ calculation tools

  • Partner with buyers and planners to review and update safety stock/EOQ levels on a periodic basis

  • Design and maintain inventory reports and dashboards (Excel/Tableau)

  • Partner with Supply Chain managers/buyers/planners to review and optimize inventory levels

  • Present inventory analysis to executives and make recommendations

  • Perform quarterly Excess & Obsolescence analysis and present to executives

  • Perform SOX related inventory controls

Requirements:

  • Four year college degree

  • 3+ years relevant experience

  • Experience analyzing and communicating data

  • Good understanding and practical experience with inventory and supply chain concepts in an MRP environment

  • Excellent interpersonal, written, verbal, communication, and leadership skills

  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills

  • Experience in an Operations/Supply Chain environment preferred

  • GAAP and SOX knowledge preferred

  • Six Sigma/Lean experience a plus

  • MBA/Masters in relevant discipline a plus

Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems has an opening for a Program Planning and Scheduling Analyst 2 for our Rancho Bernardo, CA location. The successful candidate must be able to work independently on multiple concurrent programs and proposals. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: * Develop, analyze, and maintain the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) and Integrated Master Plan (IMP) if required compliant with IPMR DI-MGMT-8186A and Earned Value Management System (EVMS) compliance requirements. * Ensure program schedules are horizontally and vertically integrated. * Provide schedule planning analysis including: – DCMA 14-point – Critical Path and Driving Path Analysis – Schedule Risk Analysis (SRA) – Schedule Performance and Health Metrics and Analysis * Provide weekly and monthly status, analysis, and reports to Program Management and our customers. * Establish and/or create Performance tracking tools as required. * Provide Configuration control of the Performance Measurement Baseline (PMB). * Support audits, Integrated Baseline Reviews (IBR) and Joint Surveillance Reviews (JSR) audits The successful candidate will possess the following: * Ability to perform detailed schedule, resource, work, and cost analysis and make recommendations to solve problems * Ability to create presentation content and present to various levels of leadership * Ability to effectively work with multiple functional teams, supplier teams, and the Program/Project Manager Basic Qualifications: Basic Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree with 3 years of work experience in Program Management, Industrial Engineering, Earned Value Management, Business, Finance, or System Engineering; OR a Master's degree with 1 year of work experience. * Active DoD Secret clearance and the ability to obtain program access. Preferred Qualifications: * Knowledge of MS Project or Schedule Risk Assessment Software, such as Primavera * Proficiency with Microsoft office suite including Excel. * Certifications: PM, PMP or SP * Bachelor's or Master's in Business Administration or STEM * Active DoD Top Secret clearance * Experience in Schedule Management * Knowledge of Earned Value Management (EVM) principles * Exposure to Aerospace Industry and Defense Acquisition programs Northrop Grumman is committed to hiring and retaining a diverse workforce.
