An Inventory Order Puller transfers and counts materials for the various assembly lines or machine centers. Inventory Pullers work in process by counting and transferring material from one work center to the other manually. They record the transfer of product and product count in the system with the use of scanner guns. Previous inventory and forklift experience is a plus, preferably in a manufacturing environment. Must be able to physically push and pull loads on carts throughout the facility with various weights. Candidates must be conscientious, self-motivated, and enjoy working in a fast paced plant.
Knowledge in inventory and product numbers in a manufacturing environment a plus.
Familiar with inventory or stocking inventory.
Ability to read materials numbers and color identification.
Ability to read blue prints to interpret what products are finished.
Ability to communicate basic information to the Machine Operators and Leadership.
Ability to make inventory transfers which affect a department and may, on occasion, affect multiple departments.
Ability to communicate to provide or obtain information.
General mathematical and reasoning skills.
High School Diploma or GED required.
