Position Details:

Essential Job Functions:

  • Inventory Management. Partner with OSC Operations to ensure proper inventory targets are achieved and warehouse utilization is at an optimum level.

  • Work with director to establish and implement best practices for managing inventory levels and ensuring no out of stock situations

  • Partner with OSC Operations to keep warehouse utilization at optimum levels

  • Monitor team purchasing activity to ensure vendor lead times are being followed and low inventory risk is at a minimum

  • Partner with OSC Operations team to ensure appropriate materials are on hand for work transfers between production facilities

  • Ensure best delivery processes are followed to minimize additional freight costs

  • Ensure all deliveries are reviewed for accuracy and quality in a timely manner

  • Customer Service. Utilize strong interpersonal and communication skills to serve both internal and external CSG customers.

  • Help establish and implement best practices for exceptional customer service

  • Ensure all variables are captured with each new material request to ensure appropriate customer pricing

  • Partner with Product, Conversions or Technical teams to gather necessary requirements to deliver on customer commitments

  • Establish a strong relationship with CSG postal manager to ensure team is apprised of any new USPS postal changes or requirements

  • Assist with resolving any quality issues that arise during production that could result in increased costs, delayed deliveries or customer dissatisfaction as needed

  • Vendor Management. Establish strong relationships with qualified vendors to ensure on-time delivery of quality products.

  • Obtain a comprehensive understanding of each vendor's capabilities and production methodology to ensure delivery of quality products

  • Understand requirements for quality printing

  • Assist with the resolution of any production or product quality issues with vendor resulting in replacement product or monitory credit

  • Address any patterns of poor vendor performance

  • Financial/Forecast/Budget. In collaboration with director, accounting and finance provide timely and accurate forecasts for paper and envelope expense. Accurately report monthly inventory activity for inclusion on company financials.

  • Accurately forecast paper and envelope expense monthly using projected volumes

  • Ensure all pricing of paper and envelopes is accurate and within the company margin guidelines

  • Compile month-end inventory information to ensure accurate reporting on financial statements

  • Assist director with paper and envelope RFP processes and vendor communications

  • People. Manage, coach and mentor direct reports on career and personal development.

External Clients during site visits & tours. High contact with Vendors and RFPs.

Internal Will interact with a variety of internal CSG individuals & groups. Internal customer will require the same level of attention & response as external clients and vendors. Will interact with internal customers daily.

  • Education

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business, Supply Chain Management or a related field

Experience

  • 3+ years of management, accounting and/or supply chain experience in a comparable environment

  • Established reputation as a high integrity, strong performer

  • Demonstrated accounting acumen with the ability to translate business requirements into accurate billing and reporting

  • Strong decision-making and interpersonal communication skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong consulting, negotiation, problem solving and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to analyze work flow, evaluate processes, and formulate plans

  • Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Strong people skills to deliver exceptional customer service while meeting high quality standards. Strong accounting skills ensure accurate billing and financial reporting.
