Inventory Management Associate needed for a contract to hire opportunity with SOC's client to work in Palm Bay, Florida.
This is for a second Shift 3:30PM-1:30AM
Responsible for performing physical or administrative tasks supporting receiving, as well as responsible for the organization and maintenance of the stockroom inventory.
Responsibilities:
Must receive all incoming material.
Count and verify material against the purchase order or invoice.
Maintain clean and safe working environment.
Responsibilities for Stockroom:
Organize and maintain stockroom inventory according to company procedures.
Pick and issue material to internal and external customers.
Assist in counting and verifying material in stockroom to maintain inventory accuracy.
Report any discrepancies or damages to material immediately to management.
Requirements
Prior experience in a stockroom or inventory control environment preferred.
Able to work effectively as part of a team or individually.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow procedures per company guidelines.
Must be able to stand for 10+ hrs. and can lift up to 40lbs.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
Must be able to use the applications Outlook and Microsoft Teams
Must be able to work in other areas to help the business needs
Employment Pre-requisites
The following requirements must be met to be eligible for this position: successful completion of a background investigation, and drug urinalysis.
