Inventory Liabilities Analyst

Full-Time Shift(s): Between 7 AM and 6 PM
Working as Full-Time Inventory Liabilities Analyst in Accounting, you will research issues related to open liabilities of inventory purchases. You will problem solve issues related to payments to vendors which requires the individual to work closely with the following groups: Inventory, Inventory Accounts Payable, Expense Accounts Payable, Corporate Purchases, Fastenal Branches and Distribution Centers, Fastco and the General Ledger group.
The duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
o Managing our inventory open liabilities
o Developing systems to maintain the open liabilities
o Reconciling the open liabilities
o Monitoring the roll forward of our open liabilities
o Managing inventory write-offs for open inventory receivers
o Pcard purchases and return to vendors
REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
The following skills and qualifications are required for this position:
o Excellent oral and written communication skills
o Proficient using Microsoft Excel
o Knowledge of PeopleSoft Query
o Possess strong math aptitude and attention to detail
o Demonstrate strong organization, planning, and prioritizing abilities
o Exhibit strong problem solving, deductive reasoning, and decision making skills
o Ability to learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
o Ability to work independently and in a team environment

o Ability to pass the required drug screen (applicable in the US, Puerto Rico, and Guam ONLY)
PREFERRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
o Possess or are working towards a Degree in one of the following areas: Math, Statistics, Data Science, Supply Chain, Accounting, Business Intelligence, Finance or a related Business field.
