What You'll Do
Inventory Driven Cost core team member who will drive data analysis that links demand signal and inventory with cost impact (E&O, PPV, Reval/Buydown). The team member will lead consolidated E&O forecast alignment and proactive excess inventory analysis. This role will work closely with the IBP community, Central GMO, and GSM to deliver improved cost impacts and forecast accuracy of cost.
Job duties include but not limited to:
Analyze big data using normalizing, standardizing, defining, clustering and balance with thick data to ensure context. Goal is to draw conclusions on cost drivers and cost impact.
Ability to manage large data sets and translate impact to the P&L and Balance Sheet.
Work with cross functional teams to track, forecast and reduce E&O and scrap.
Use data to create models that depict trends in the excess and aging inventory with org and commodity views.
Work with management team to create a prioritized list of needs for E&O data visibility, automation and user views.
Use statistical methods to analyze data and generate trends and recommendations.
Inputs to the business requirements document/ User Stories
Approval of BRDs/ User Stories
Make decision on solution fit/gap approval/rejections
Represent the business and make decision in the process design sessions and workshops
Own the training content and facilitation of training for E&O and IDC
Who You'll Work With
You will work closely with the entire Integrated Business Planning team as well as the broader GP&F team including CRP and Regional S&OP. There will be cross functional work with the Operations teams, Finance, and IT.
Who You Are
Experienced in leading cross-functional teams to achieve results by identifying and aligning on shared goals, priorities, and commitments. Adept at seeing cause and effect between supply chain actions and strategic business outcomes. Able to hold peers, partners, and self accountable.
You have 5+ years of experience in highly analytical roles with a mindset for solving analytical and sometimes ambiguous problems using a data-driven approach.
You possess strong analytical skills to assess, frame and drive data-driven decisions. You can lead efforts to create models to analyze "what-if" scenarios for proactive planning purposes.
The ability to assimilate and correlate abstract concepts, disconnected programs, and changes in the business environment to articulate their collective relevance to the organization and to high-priority business issues.
Experience planning and deploying both business and IT initiatives.
Experience modeling business processes using a variety of tools and techniques.
Exceptional communication skills and the ability to communicate appropriately at all levels of the organization; this includes written and verbal communications as well as visualizations
Strong situational analysis and decision making abilities.
