Inventory Coordinator

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage HUB Inventory.

• Manage and control inventory. Including regular inventory counting, monitoring and material usage.

• Liaise with Purchasing Specialist to ensure that stock out situations are avoided.

• Daily communication /Liaison with Line Leaders/Kit Room and Despatch etc. of plans, targets and priorities.

• Liaison with production personnel to ensure control of materials in operations is maintained.

• Support ISO Quality System, Quality policy, continuous improvement and HS&E actives.

• Accruals book all incoming inventory deliveries on IQMS

• Perform inventory inspection where required, report any issues to the Quality Manager.

• Cycle count and adjust inventory as needed in IQMS

• Determine and manage inventory locations (i.e. label racking, scanning parts to locations).

• Put incoming inventory away daily.

• Keep warehouse clean and organized.

• Follow procedures in accordance with the Quality System.

• Assist in identifying continuous improvement opportunities.

• Safety hazard identification and elimination.

• Participate in Lean Manufacturing initiatives.

• Adheres to quality and safety systems or maintenance of quality and safety standards

REQUIREMENTS:

• Computer skills, including ERP, MRP Systems and Microsoft Office

• Attention to detail.

• Highly organized and self-motivated

• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment with product changes common

• Interpersonal skills.

• Ability to multi-task and prioritize multiple requests.

• Communication skills.

• Capable of lifting loads of 50 lbs. regularly.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

• High school diploma or equivalent required. Secondary education preferred.

• Previous experience in warehousing stores environment/MRP Systems

• Ability to operate a Forklift

• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
