Job Description Job Description Title: Inventory Coordinator Type:

Direct Hire Pay: $47-60K Schedule: 35-hour work week/ 7 hours per day (hybrid opportunity once training is complete) The Inventory Coordinator reports to the Inventory Supervisor and provides excellent customer and vendor services by performing the functions necessary for managing, creating, receiving and tracking inventory in accordance with Company policies and procedures. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Conduct monthly rack inventory reconciliations between company’s inventory records and third-party storage warehouse records. • Research and solve variances, provide supporting paperwork and documentation to the appropriate department for full resolution. • Conduct bi-yearly third-party yard counts of all material. Reconcile, research, and resolve variances. • Visit yards to analyze the condition of OCTG materials for company’s maintenance program. • Support Sales, Commercial and Accounting departments with inventory inquiries including but not limited to variances, availability, conditions, and photos. • Assist with coordinating, scheduling, and performing annual physical inventory counts • Update all inventory yard movements and yard transfers in the ERP system including moving rejects through the inspection process. • Prepare and submit documents on behalf of the quality department related to mill and insurance claims. • Manage storage warehouse vendor relationship which includes but is not limited to meeting with vendor representatives, spot counts, commercial process improvements (e.g., rates, reporting, etc.), and yard audits • Troubleshoot inventory issues, handle management requests, and any special inventory -related assignments • Responsible for weekly inventory review (reports and dashboards) and compile and maintain monthly inventory reports/reporting • Be a “super user” for MS AX, the company’s ERP system, as it relates to inventory (search, reporting, etc.) and provide system assistance to staff as needed • Work with other departments and IT to create and maintain AX inventory dashboards • Company liaison between IT, Operations, Sales, and Accounting • Understand and comply with Company compliance programs and ensure all orders, invoices and documentation are in compliance with regulations • Know, understand, and enforce J-SOX • Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures • Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals • A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected • Occasional overnight travel as needed • Other duties as assigned EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Education: • High School Diploma • Associates degree, college business courses preferred Page | 1 Experience: • 3 years of experience with inventory reconciliations • Preferred experience with Yard, Pipe Industry or Freight Forward Company • General knowledge of shipping and logistics operations • General accounting knowledge • Ability to prioritize and escalate issues as needed • Excellent computer skills (MS Office) REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS • Strong customer service skills • Strong communication and interpersonal skills • Strong computer literacy with MS Office • Ability to prioritize • Punctual, Conscientious, Detail Oriented, Organized, Task Oriented PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS • Ability to lift objects weighing up to 50 lbs • Must be able to stand, walk, and traverse in gravel/dust • Must wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as required WORK ENVIRONMENT • Require use of personal transportation for third party yard visits • Required to work indoors and outdoors year-round in all weather conditions Job 1896 Company Description We offer great compensation, great benefits, room for growth, and a strong team culture.
