Summary

The Inventory Coordinator is responsible for:

Freight receiving, processing, and stocking functions.Maintaining store appearance, product presentation, and compliance with Company standards. Does this through effective "control" of back room inventory in order to insure that the sales floor SOP's are never affected as a result of inventory flow.Reviewing scheduled inbound product flow and daily schedules to ensure workload coverage. Anticipates weather conditions and holiday schedule changes in order to ensure that proper receiving is scheduled.Maintaining and adjusting proper staffing levels on all scheduled shifts in partnership with store leaders (MOD) and modifying delivery schedule changes.Training team members to execute all activities at required production levels.Consulting with store leaders (MOD) regarding inventory discrepancy and product flow issues.Monitoring team member work practices and provides corrective action in partnership with Store Manager when necessary.Following company procedures and notification processes.Annual physical inventory of the store - sales floor and back room.Meeting or beating financially budgeted shrink expectations.

Qualifications:
Be 18 years or older and have a High School Diploma or equivalent. College Degree preferred.Successfully pass a background check.Have 2-3 years of related retail experience and prior experience in merchandise receiving, handling, and stocking in a retail, warehouse or distribution environment.Be proficient in the use of computers including basic knowledge of POS system and Windows-based computer applications.Be available to work a flexible work schedule, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.Have a willingness to learn and develop fabric and craft product knowledge.

The successful candidate will have primary responsibility for leading all aspects of the turnarounds in Michigan Operations (MI Ops) Maintenance. This role provides oversight for Turnaround (TA) budget and will directly manage $5-$10 Million per year. Through the use of Global Turnaround Methodology (GTM), the Turnaround Coordinators will ensure the appropriate, timely involvement of all functions critical to the success of the turnaround. Constancy of purpose, timely approvals/decisions, and closure on issues are key responsibilities. Key Responsibilities: * Work with Global Maintenance Tech center and Plant Partners to develop specific turnaround methodology. * Implement Dow Turnaround Methodology with all plant partners in MI Opperations * Develop and maintain the turnaround schedules and turnaround budgets. * Coordinate site integration issues. * Coordinate contract service strategies for turnarounds across MI Ops * Lead turnaround teams to develop plans and successfully implement them for a series of turnarounds in each of the plants in MI Ops. * Control the cost and timing of the turnaround to meet the business and site needs. * Define work list by freeze date; enforce administrative controls for add-ons after freeze date. * Develop critical path - integrate operations, projects, and maintenance activities and optimize. * Estimate cost of TA based on scoped work; adjust plans to meet constraints. * Identify opportunities for frequency extension between turnarounds; communicate appropriately. * Prepare closure reports and communicate. * Will participate in and lead efforts in site, regional, and possibly maintenance global network to develop discipline and tools to raise effectiveness and performance of GTM execution * Update global TA tracking tool * Lead TA Steering team to align operations, projects, maintenance, and Environmental, Health, and Safety (EH&S) functions * Lead core Turnaround (TA) team to ensure work coordination, planning, scheduling, cost management, material management, operations rep, project rep, and shared services are working together in Front End Loading (FEL), pre-TA activities, TA execution, and Post TA activities * Ensure plans are updated and archived for future TA's * Complete TA closure report Required Qualifications: * A minimum of 3-5 years of Maintenance or Operations experience is required. * Proficiency in Microsoft applications, such as Word and Excel, and have the ability to learn new systems quickly. * Strong written and verbal communication skills. * Good interpersonal skills are required. * Must have strong multi-tasking, problem solving and time management skills. * Demonstrate leadership skills - inspire others and lead them through influence. * A self-starter who can identify, prioritize and accomplish multiple tasks. * Must be able to read, write, and speak English. * Must be able to willing and able to work in such environments wearing safety equipment, such as respirators, earplugs, goggles, and steel-toed shoes. * Must be able to willing and able to work in such environments with frequent bending, reaching, and lifting. * Must be able to willing and able to work in such environments working in tight or closed-in spaces. * Must be willing and able to climb stairs/ladders and working high off the ground. * Must be willing and able to stand or walk for extended periods of time. * Must have a current, valid US driver's license * A minimum requirement for this U.S. based position is the ability to work legally in the United States. Education: * A minimum of a High School Diploma or GED is required. * Associate's degree and/or 4 years military experience.
