The Full-Time Inventory Coordinators responsibility first and foremost is to deliver a premium customer experience by inspiring creativity within our customers and making JOANN their happy place! All Team Members strive to drive sales through advanced product knowledge, innovative merchandising and cutting counter accuracy. The Inventory Coordinator will review inbound product deliveries and work schedules to ensure delivery coverage. They will also maintain backroom standards by accurately processing freight and taking full account of physical inventory to ensure product is continuously flowing to the sales floor. This team member is fully accountable for annual physical inventory of the store. The Inventory Coordinator will also embody the characteristics that tie back to the duties of Brand Ambassador, Operational Excellence, Business Acumen and Inspirational Leader.


  • Greets every JOANN customer and uses the F.A.S.T. service model to meet the customer's needs

  • Asks open-ended questions to learn about customers' project needs and escorts them to the desired product's location

  • Engages in friendly conversation with customers about their projects while serving them at the cutting counter, cash register, and sales floor


  • Performs on-hand counts of physical inventory throughout the back room and sales floor to ensure all inventory is accounted for

  • Receives and unloads truck deliveries with close attention to detail and ensures freight is organized and undamaged

  • Processes freight received from trucks to ensure all merchandise is accounted for and ready to be sent to the sales floor when necessary

  • Cleans and organizes the back room and maintains high standards in the cleanliness and quality of their work area

  • Stocks shelves accurately according to planogram while maintaining a high level of productivity and close attention to detail


  • Consults with store management regarding inventory discrepancy and product flow issues to reduce shrink

  • Merchandises product in a way that catches the customer's attention and promotes sales

  • Constantly improves upon processes and uses innovative thinking to create a better flow of inventory throughout the store


  • Works closely with store management to ensure that incoming freight has a strategic plan for movement onto the sales floor

  • Communicates freight plan to other team members and promotes whole store participation in the movement of freight

  • Partners with store management to align scheduled hours with the inbound product flow to create full workload coverage

  • Monitors team member work practices and provides guidance on receiving/stocking store policies


  • Must be 18 years or older and have a high school diploma or equivalent

  • 1+ years of supervisory experience in a customer centric environment

  • Available to work a flexible schedule, including days, evenings, weekends and holidays

The selected candidate will play a critical role in the growth of the Quantix drone & AV DSS, and will be a highly motivated, resourceful, organized, and results-driven individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment. Job Duties and Responsibilities The Marketing Coordinator will support the Product Marketing team in the day-to-day management of marketing campaign execution, with a focus on social media, trade show/event coordination and content marketing programs. This position will report to the CIS Marketing Manager, and will work closely with Sales, Creative Services and Customer Support teams to effectively market AeroVironment's Quantix drone & AV DSS data analytics products and services. Key Responsibilities and Expectations include: * Social Media: * Develop, manage and execute multi-platform social media campaign. Driving community growth, and brand engagement, while evaluating campaign performance to increase effectiveness. * Events: * Assist Marketing Manager in the development & scheduling of trade shows, conferences and other events. Coordinate internal & external staffing resources, collateral and booth set-up/tear down logistics to ensure on-site success. Ensure leads are captured, scored and entered in our CRM tool. Travel as necessary. * Content Marketing: * Develop, and execute content marketing calendar across web, email, blog and other inbound marketing channels. * Manage external agencies and vendors from account setup through invoicing, tracking expenses and marketing budget. * Enhance the use and effectiveness of existing CRM/Marketing software packages such as, HubSpot, etc. to improve marketing/sales lead generation and customer engagement. * Research industry trends, social media/engagement tools, client and competitive marketing tactics * Support other marketing programs as necessary Required Qualifications & Background * Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in marketing, communications, or business * 2+ years of Marketing experience at a consumer products company or agency * Willingness to travel: Approximately 20% * Active user of major social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, etc. * Experience with preferred * Confident and professional communicator over the phone, in person, and digitally * Work effectively with cross-functional teams, customers, suppliers, and partners * Ability to work independently with minimum supervision and in a collaborative team environment * Proficient with MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook) * Strong organizational skills, with the ability to balance multiple projects successfully and efficiently Aerovironment Simi Valley CA
