We are looking for a passionate Inventory Controller who wants to help the world thrive!
The purpose of this position is to monitor inventory accuracy at the Fullerton facility. This includes running various daily, weekly, and monthly reports in SAP and MII and troubleshoot issues regularly. Regular tasks include maintaining accurate inventory in the system, approving inventory adjustments, conducting root cause analysis of inventory discrepancies, implementing corrective actions. Also, verifying production orders are accurate, complete, and closed on a daily and monthly basis. Verify master recipes and bill of materials are accurate and correct in addition to helping lead month end/annual inventory activities.
Closing out process orders, inventory adjustments, communicating with management/FSQR/shipping/accounting
Maintain SAP, and MII computer systems and proactively resolve issues as needed.
Create daily, weekly, monthly reports to maintain inventory accuracy and notify departments of issues
Take ownership of month end/annual inventory process
Support production, accounting, and other departments
Completes various paperwork
Other duties as assigned by supervisor
Responsible for complete ownership of inventory accuracy at the Fullerton facility. This includes both finished goods, and raw materials. Tasks include closing out process orders in a timely manner, running system reports to monitor completeness of processes. Duties include taking ownership of month end process and communicating clearly with accounting and production supervisor when issues arise.

Must be strong with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook and Excel.
Must have strong communication skills.
Must have excellent keyboarding/typing skills.
Must have strong customer service skills.
Must have above average general office skills.
Must be familiar with the software applications used at Cargill (SAP, MII, etc)
Must be able to walk, sit, or stand for extended periods.
Must be a cautious and safety minded individual.
Must be willing to assist other departments whenever necessary

Cargill requires that employees be a minimum of 18 years old to work in a production facility.
Able to read/write English
High School diploma or Equivalent
Basic computer skills
Must be able to perform physical job duties including bending/stooping, climbing ladders and shoveling.
Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
Must be able to work under special work conditions, such as extreme heat or cold.
Ability to work in elevated areas
Ability to work holidays, nights, weekends or different shifts
Able to work overtime
At least (1year) of experience in production related work
Able to perform physical job duties including open/close valves, pounding with hammer and work in confined spaces
Able to operate machinery
1 Year or more experience in inventory control position is preferred.
