What you'll do on a typical day:

  • Assist with shipping and receiving, unloading trucks, checking in merchandise, matching purchase orders to sales orders, and distributing to sales associates for processing

  • Read customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, distributed, and/or shipped

  • Fill requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials, tools, or other stock items, and distribute items to shipping or to designated route driver storage area

  • Ensure warehouse is accessible and safe for employee and customer traffic; wear the proper safety equipment and adhere to all safety procedures and programs

  • Mark materials with identifying information using the appropriate method

  • Assist with the counting of physical inventory

  • Perform facilities maintenance duties as needed, such as sweeping, dusting, and mopping

What you need to succeed at XPO:

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • 3 months or more related experience or training

  • Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.

  • Safely walk, reach (including above your head), bend, climb, push, pull, twist, squat, crawl, balance, and kneel as necessary to perform the job duties

  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals

  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence

  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure; use whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals

Essential Duties and Responsibilities 1. Quality Control of all collateral file maintenance using system reports to verify the accuracy of information as per department procedures. 2. Balance daily/monthly general ledger accounts. 3. Serve as back up for insurance tracking and pre-closing insurance review. 4. Interact with lenders and their assistants to provide exceptional customer service. 5. Responsible for updating procedures of job duties as it pertains to the related position. 6. Be available as needed to cross train and perform additional tasks as assigned. 7. Utilizes problem-solving skills, external resources, and internal resources to resolve issues. 8. May assist with special projects designated by Manager 9. Escalates complex problems (i.e. production, system problems and/or collateral documentation issues) to Manager. 10. Adheres to the BSA Policy and all other Bank Policies. 11. Other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned by supervisor. Minimum Qualifications (Education, Experience, Skills) * Knowledge of consumer and commercial lending, real estate, loan documentation, lien documentation, as well as state and federal compliance and lending regulations * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * Ability to work independently, efficiently and innovatively as part of a team * Must work well under pressure, meeting multiple and conflicting deadlines * Computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Office * Minimum 1-year experience in loan operation or collateral documentation environment in a commercial bank or other financial institution is preferred Physical Demands and Work Environment The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position.
