General Information:
The Inventory Control Technician is responsible for verifying and correcting inventory balances in SAP for labels, components and finished goods, as well as performs various inventory control activities, including cycle or physical counting, scrap transactions, and inventory adjustments in accordance with company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Work Instructions (WIs), and Business Process Procedures (BPPs).

This position is responsible for:
Conducts daily physical inventory counts for labels, components and finished goods.
Audits inventory transactions and reports, and processes and/or coordinates with appropriate departments transactions required to correct inventory discrepancies.
Maintains and prepares all documentation and reports supporting the cycle count results and inventory accuracy.
Ensures rotation of inventory using the First In, First Out inventory method and monitors aged-inventory for disposal.
Assists with customer B2B (book-to-book) audits and physical inventory audits, as well as internal inventory audits, and the Excess & Obsolete (E&O) process.
Operates powered industrial equipment in accordance with established safety regulations, guidelines, and procedures.
Provides recommendations to improve inventory management and processes.
Performs all work in a manner that is consistent with the company's quality system and FDA good manufacturing practices, includes maintaining a clean and orderly production area at all times.
Follows, promotes, and enforces KDC's safety and environmental policies, practices, and procedures.
Assists with safety investigations and corrective actions related to safety hazards and/or incidents.
Completes SOPs, Work Instructions, and other paperwork according to established company policy.
Maintains confidentiality of customer information, and other sensitive and confidential information.
Exhibits regular and predictable attendance and works overtime as needed due to workplace demands. Performs other related duties as required.
