The Inventory Control Supervisor is responsible for the effective management, control, and execution of Cepheid's cycle count program at our East Bay Logistics Center. Accomplished through the established cycle count program (electronic or paper form) while ensuring strict adherence to Cepheid's Inventory Control Standard Operating Procedures and Corporate SOX Narrative, inventory accuracy is critical to ensure material availability to meet internal and external customer requirements. In this role, you will have the opportunity to learn about Cepheid's East Bay Logistics operation and best practices, actively participate in various local/global improvement projects and room for growth to reach your career objectives.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

Manage the execution of Cycle Count and Physical Inventory activities at our East Bay Logistics Centre while adhering to the corporate policies and narrative. Coach and develop team members on proper processes, methodology, tools, performance objectives and development plans.

Analyze complex inventory issues involving real-time inventory levels through the creation and application of visual Gemba evidence and standard work for inventory discrepancy tracking. Collaborate with Finance to lead internal & external Inventory audits. Subject Matter Expert (SME) on escalated Inventory Control request for research, validation, and implementation of corrective actions. Manage the collection and presentation of Inventory metrics and KPIs utilizing Daily Management fundamentals.

The essential requirements of the job include:

• High school degree with 8+ years of experience in a Logistics, Warehouse, Inventory Control or Supply Chain-related role OR a Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of experience in a Logistics, Warehouse, Inventory Control or Supply Chain-related role.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• In-depth understanding of Inventory Control concepts, theories, principles, and best practices along with knowledge of process improvement tools (kaizen, PSP, TPI, VSM)

• Thorough knowledge in Shipping, Receiving and Warehousing disciplines, preferably in a diagnostic, medical device, or pharmaceutical environment as well as working knowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) rules and requirements

• In-depth knowledge and experience with SAP IM/WM modules and cycle count execution or similar ERP system

• Experience in people leadership highly preferred

The salary range OR the hourly range for this role is $93,600 - 163,900 USD. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting.

We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
