Job Description:

POSITION SUMMARY

IC Specialists are responsible for reviewing the Inventory Control policy, completing all training, and adhering to the published policy and related procedures.

The IC Specialist will diligently safeguard the inventory assets managed by the company, perform root cause analysis to completion, and effectively execute reverse logistics.

This is a first shift position with hours of 7 am to 3:30 pm M -F OT as required.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Perform system adjustments as required and analyze for root cause. Initiate subsequent corrective action.

  • Confirm creation and completion of cycle count activity daily. Maintain accurate records of all audits, counts, adjustments, and analysis, including those specifically required by the Proactive Cycle Count Program.

  • Perform reverse logistics specific to customer return of product, ensuring proper and timely execution, including exception management.

  • Perform reverse logistics specific to product recalls, ensuring proper and timely execution, and adherence to regulatory guidelines and compliance instructions.

  • Perform reverse logistics specific to vendor returns, regular and excess, ensuring proper and timely execution.

  • Perform OS&D inbound system reporting and all associated research, ensuring proper and timely execution.

  • Perform inbound and outbound exception review and initiate corrective action, ensuring proper and timely execution.

  • Provide timely and accurate response to internal and external teams specific to required counts, balance on-hand and analysis. Initiate communication to resolve errors.

  • Review and analyze weekly sync reporting to determine root cause and resolution. Initiate corrective action.

  • Coordinate all physical inventory warehouse preparation and cutoff activities as required by PI Instruction documentation. Manage system requirements and control desk functions, resolve variances, and perform all final reconciliation requirements.

  • Perform tasks in support of warehouse optimization, as assigned.

  • Qualified to execute all essential job functions of an IC Coordinator.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
1.Equal to a high school diploma.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
1.Repetitive motions: Making substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.

Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally and all other sedentary criteria are met.

Job Summary: To bring inventory to point of use and place finished components in storage locations awaiting use. To count inventory as requested by Production Planning and enter item location data into computer. To help keep shop floor organized, clean and safe. Essential Responsibilities: * Daily operation of a standup forklift for material handling purposes, including assisting the receiving team with inbound materials. * Daily management of the Kanban system for all of the manufacturing division to ensure proper inventory levels. * Bring inventory to point of use or inventory storage locations based current priorities. * Place finished components in inventory storage locations. * Count inventory as requested by Production Planning and enter item location data in computer. Additional Responsibilities: * Assist with final shipping preparation of contract manufacturing. * Assist with sub-assemblies as needed. * To assemble finished products using sub-assemblies, parts, and fasteners. * Use of basic hand tools, including but not limited to screw drivers, wrenches, and nut drivers. * Use of basic power tools, including but not limited to pop rivet guns, drills, air ratchets, and nut insert guns. * Performs other duties as assigned. Safety: Each employee is expected to obey safety rules and to exercise caution in all work activities. Employee must immediately report any unsafe condition to their supervisor or any other manager. Qualifications: * Earn and maintain a forklift certification. * Ability to add and subtract five digit numbers. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement. * Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. * Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations. * Basic personal computer skills. * High-level attention to detail. * Strong communication skills. * Physically able to use hands to finger and handle objects, tools, machinery, or controls, reach with hands and arms, stand, walk, stoop, kneel, talk, hear and visually inspect finished parts. * Satisfactory results of a pre-employment physical exam and drug/alcohol screening. Physical Demands: * Must be able to stand, walk, and use hands/fingers to handle or feel. * Must be able to reach with hands and arms. * Must be able to climb, stoop, kneel and crouch. * Must be able to talk, hear and see. * Must be able to stand for long periods of time. * Must be able to lift at least 50 and tilt lift at least 100 pounds of weight.
