Hearthside is seeking an Inventory Specialist Byhalia, MS (nerar Memphis, TN). This plant-based role is responsible for coordinating inventory cycle counts and month end inventory activities. The role requires an individual who is a team player, with the ability to respond quickly to changing needs, lead by example, train and effectively educate on the importance of inventory accuracy. This person reports to the Logistics Supervisor.
This role requires dedication to detail and accuracy. Successful candidates are proactive and can interact with other departments to resolve inventory discrepancies. They possess good written and verbal communication skills, problem solving ability, conflict resolution skills, strong interpersonal skills and an ability to adapt to changing situations.

Attributes for Success
Successful Inventory Specialists possess an ability to handle multiple projects and assignments and are skilled in time management, have good general software / technology experience (MS Office) and work well with people at all levels.
Inventory Specialist responsibilities include coordinating weekly and monthly inventory cycle counts, data analysis and problem solving using defined methodologies. They must have sound decision making skills and be able to operate a fork lift. Running lot aging reports daily, sample product for evaluation, escalate aging issues to minimize financial loss, process discontinued materials, ensure accuracy of transactions: these are just a few of the day-to-day priorities of the position.
