A large supply company is seeking an individual to work in the Shipping Department. Work hours are Monday through Friday from 6:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Job Duties:
Unload in-bound steel trucks
Check-in and record steel orders in software program
Put away and organize black steel inventory
Move raw material machines
Move finished parts to staging areas or trailers
Perform cycle counts on inventory items and adjust qualities
Operate forklift and overhead crane


Experience with warehouse processes and handling steel parts is preferred
Must be computer literate
Must be able to operate a forklift and overhead crane
Must have the ability to pay attention to detail

Summary of Responsibilities:. Quality Assurance Research Technician performs all assigned food safety and quality research projects. Also performs daily laboratory testing in Quality Assurance Department. Operating within the parameters established by the Senior QA Technical manager and QA Department, the QA Research Technician has the responsibility to perform the assigned tasks properly and in a timely manner. Key SpecificResponsibilities: Perform the following functions properly and in a timely manner under the direction of Senior QA Technical Manager: * Assist in designing of the food safety/ quality project to accomplish established goal. * Assist in preparation for the project. * Assist or perform the project accurately and in a timely manner * Assist or generate the report upon completion of the project. * Maintain records of all quality and food safety testing data collected during projects. * Assist QA Department in testing raw material or finished products for pH, Titrate able Acidity, Moisture Analysis, water activity and other QA tasks. * Collect samples from production facilities as required. * Perform all miscellaneous tasks assigned by supervisor. * Prompt action is taken on requests made by other departments. * Fosters continuous improvement efforts. * Assist trouble shooting of Tempsys System * Calibration of Vegie Prep ORP System * Perform Oxygen Testing * Review and Sign Off on USDA Seafood and FDA Non Seafood HACCP Records * Plan and Implement CCP Validations as needed * Assist or perform internal and external Food Safety audits * Assist Food Safety Manager in Food Safety Incident Reports * Assist in allergen validation testing. * Work under direction of Quality Assurance Manager, Senior Quality and Technology Manager and Assistant Food Safety Manager to help Revise HACCP Plans. * Coordinate Quarterly Finished product shelf life testing * Coordinate Quarterly Water Testing * Perform Quarterly Gluten tests * Prep Listeria swab sample bags for QA Techs * Train Production employees in operation of belt trough * Perform Alchemy Food Safety Training with HR Summary of AuthorityGranted To This Position: The person in this role shall hold the highest authority on the production floor relative to quality and food safety control. EssentialFunctions: * Ability to walk around facility 8 hours per day * Ability to work in fluctuating temperature environments of refrigeration and non-refrigeration o Refrigerated Temperatures are as follows: § Process rooms: 40 to 55 F § Coolers: 32 to 40 F § Freezers: -20 to 32 F o Non-refrigerated Areas: 60 to 85 F * Ability to work with multiple departments to achieve company goals * Exemplify the Company’s Core Values with with each day’s activities throughout all shifts Qualifications for Position: .
