The Inventory Control Data Coordinator position physically support's several locations with Chemical Management and Vendor Managed Inventory programs. Enters data into inventory control and shop floor programs to produce daily, weekly or ad-hoc reports to support software inventory comparisons.
Review and update customer data integrity to verify accuracy, investigate and correct discrepancies to ensure accurate customer inventory supporting operational requirements.
Work with supervisor, coordinators and material handlers to correct, perform root-cause analysis, and establish corrective actions to avoid continued discrepancies. Processes and submits customer consolidated invoicing and works with the customer to ensure invoices are approved and submitted daily.
Works with customers to ensure corporate accounts receivable targets are being met. Develops and maintains Inventory Cycle Count, Annual Inventory and Expiration Date programs. Communicates materials approaching critical re-order levels due to expiration to purchasing assuring material is available for production requirements.
Writes procedures for key functions. Performs other tasks and special projects as assigned.
Experience and Education
High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and/or experience. Must be able to effectively read, write, and communicate in English.
Must be able to perform basic mathematical calculations including decimals, fractions, percents, and metric conversions. Must be able to operate a personal computer and be proficient in Microsoft office applications such as Excel and Outlook. Attention to detail and administrative proficiency required. Must be able to wear required PPE when applicable with or without reasonable accommodation.
