Inventory Control Coordinator

Do you have a passion for accuracy and customer service? An Inventory Control Coordinator is available in Tacoma, WA at Milgard Windows and Doors. You will play a vital role in managing our vinyl inventory and ensuring customer satisfaction. You'll act as a buyer and customer service representative, ensuring our vendor-managed inventory meets customer needs. The hourly compensation range is $24.00 to $33.00, depending on experience. Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Inventory Control Coordinator responsibilities include:

• Manage vinyl extrusion inventory levels to meet customer demands.

• Develop and distribute accurate sales forecasts to support the business unit.

• Allocate and prioritize movement of finished goods to optimize inventory flow.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external customers.

• Provide prompt and accurate responses to customer inquiries through various channels.

• Act as a liaison between Window Plant locations and Vinyl Extrusion.

• Collaborate with scheduling to ensure on-time deliveries for customers.

• Investigate and resolve customer issues related to products, quality, or deliveries.

• Generate and maintain accurate inventory reports.

• Manage inventory databases and provide system-generated order acknowledgments.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of two years of experience in customer service using an enterprise system, preferably in a manufacturing environment.

• One to two years of experience managing incoming inventory/materials in a manufacturing setting.

• Associate degree preferred.

• Ability to self-manage, prioritize, and multi-task effectively.

• Strong teamwork and communication skills.

• Experience coordinating and collaborating with multiple departments.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook).

• Ability to lift up to 50lbs unassisted.
