Summary of Position: The Inventory Control Clerk position handles all day-to-day aspects of CBW's inventory from receiving product into the building to product leaving the building. This person will be responsible for inventory quantities, code dates, loss prevention, vendor returns, and resolving all problems associated with our inventory.

Schedule: Monday - Thursday 4:00 AM - 12:30 PM; Friday 2:00 AM - 10:30 AM

Pay: 15.50/hr.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintains records of all stock and materials in Dist. Center

  • Performs cycle counts and resolves discrepancies

  • Manages and troubleshoots short-coded inventory

  • Carefully monitors product rotation, ensuring it is being done at time of receiving and restocking

  • Assigns slot locations to all new products

  • Makes inventory adjustments in systems when needed

  • Investigates and resolves all missing products and any other inventory issues

  • Conducts physical inventory and cycle counts

  • Changes out shelf labels, including check digits

  • Checks dead license plates

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Extremely detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy

  • Analytical with excellent mathematical skills

  • Strong work history with demonstrated dependability and safe working habits

  • Proficient with computers, knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook (or other email experience)

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

  • Team-oriented and customer-focused

  • Comfortable working in an upbeat, fast-paced environment

Interacts with team members at all sites to catch and correct inventory errors in real time via transaction, training or both.
