SUMMARY

The Purchasing assistant will help maintain our supply and equipment inventory levels and negotiate deals with potential vendors. They will also be in charge with conducting regular price comparisons to ensure that the company is always getting the best price for each product that is purchased. Also prepping AV orders for purchasing, scheduling AV installs and collecting all necessary paperwork after the install.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • EA Receiving- Equipment, Supplies, Audio Visual Products, and OOG Orders

  • Updating Sales Orders & equipment records for drop ship orders.

  • New Item Setups in E-Auto System for- Equipment and Supplies

  • Going through the AV orders and making sure all data is accurate

  • Create and Generate All Purchase Orders for Audio Visual and drop ship supplies/equipment

  • Work closely with office and warehouse personnel

  • Scheduling the AV installs, placing service calls, and following up with the customer on the install

  • Encourages and builds effective relationships by communicating positively with all COTG employees, customers and vendors.

  • Works closely with outside vendors on ETA's, pricing, and/or damage claims

  • Work closely with accounts payables, billing department, leasing department, and warehouse to ensure company benchmarks are properly met.

  • Department backup as needed

  • Assist in Quarterly Physical Inventories

  • Available to work overtime when necessary

  • Compare product deliveries with issued purchase orders and contact vendors when there are discrepancies

The Assistant Manager reports to the General Manager. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Primary responsibilities include: General Oversee and manage all areas of the restaurant and make final decisions on matters of importance to exceed customer expectations. Financial Adhere to company standards and service levels to increase sales and minimize costs, including food, beverage, supply, utility and labor costs. Responsible for ensuring that all financial (invoices, reporting) and personnel/payroll related administrative duties are completed accurately, on time and in accordance with company policies and procedures. Food safety and planning Enforce sanitary practices for food handling, general cleanliness, and maintenance of kitchen and dining areas. Ensure compliance with operational standards, company policies, federal/state/local laws, and ordinances. Responsible for ensuring consistent high quality of food preparation and service. Maintain professional restaurant image, including restaurant cleanliness, proper uniforms, and appearance standards. Estimate food and beverage costs. Work with Franchise office staff for efficient provisioning and purchasing of supplies. Supervise portion control and quantities of preparation to minimize waste. Estimate food needs, place orders with distributors, and schedule the delivery of food and supplies. Guest service Ensure positive customer service in all areas. Respond to complaints, taking any and all appropriate actions to turn dissatisfied customers into customers for life. Operational responsibilities Ensure that proper security procedures are in place to protect employees, guests and company assets.
