Job Description:Maintains and reports supply and inventory levels for materials and products in the Distribution Center. Performs physical counts of product in the warehouse. May be trained to utilize lift equipment. May perform audits in areas of the Distribution Center. Researches inventory discrepancies and irregularities, reconciles errors, and documents inventory findings as appropriate. Identifies inventory shortages and reports findings. Trained Equipment Operator. May participate in SDN testing. This position may coordinate data entry activities for department and provide direction to Dept. Assistants. Coordinates all efforts with regards to PAF processing. Coordinates training efforts and updates job aides. Supports the QVC Difference in the performance of all job duties.
Analyzes inventory-related statistics to identify problems and correct inventory variances. Researches the issue to determine which information will illustrate where, when, how, and why the problem is occurring; gathers the appropriate data; and generates reports for management.
Reviews variance recounts from row counts and special request cycle counts to determine inventory corrective actions. Utilizes IC Specialist team for additional researching on variances and count validation.
Analyzes and prepares standardized and ad hoc reports.
Provides guidance to all Inventory Control Specialists as needed in usage, procedures, research techniques, coding, etc.
Conducts special studies as assigned. Identifies information needs, coordinates research and development. Coordinates all efforts with regards to PAF processing.
Assists with the yearly physical reconciliation process and prepares appropriate reports for management review.
Designs, updates, and maintains inventory reports using spreadsheet/database software such as Excel, Access, and Microsoft Office. Updates report formats as needed.
May participate in SDN testing
May perform audits in areas of the Distribution Center.
Adheres to all company safety and security policies and procedures.
Maintains attendance according to company policy
Other duties, responsibilities, and activities as assigned.
